Been playing Gear Truck! for a couple months now. It’s basically a survival strategy game where you drive a truck through a zombie apocalypse, equipping and upgrading your vehicle to blast away the undead. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you start with a basic truck and have to drag and drop different gears onto it to power it up. There’s also a bunch of weapons and skills you can unlock to help you survive. And it’s kind of like a puzzle – you gotta figure out the best gear combo for each level. And the variety of zombie types is pretty cool – I’ve seen running zombies, flying zombies, exploding zombies, all kinds of crazy stuff.

Look, if you’re into strategy/survival games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and it can get a bit repetitive after a while. But overall it does the job and it’s free to play, so worth checking out.

So here's my honest take on Gear Truck!. I've tested a bunch of strategy games and this one's pretty solid. The gear system is simple but there's a surprising amount of depth to it - you really have to think about which parts to equip and where to put them. And the graphics look great and it runs smooth even on my older phone. And I like the quirky zombie variety, keeps things interesting. The main downside is that the progression can feel a bit grindy at higher levels, and the ads can get annoying if you don't pay. But if you're looking for an addictive, easy-to-pick-up strategy game, this is worth a try.
