very cute and fun, but needs work. the gacha rng is a big problem. it's so hard to get a character, especially if you're looking for someons in particular. it's also hard to find level up stuff for characters. other than that, it's a good tims. I could spend hours just collecting stuff. the open world is huge and very fun to explore. the characters are so cool. i wish they looked a bit more diverse, but you're improving on that. anyway, havs fun out there, travelers!

I could honestly write an entire essay on how much missed potential this game has. The first 50 hours are some of the best of any open world game that I've played, but god - the developers have heavily lost the plot in the near 5 years since release. The graphics are beautiful for a mobile game, but the characters become more unlikable with every update. The combat system is novel and engaging, but powercreep has ruined it. The bittersweet enjoyment that I got from this game is gone for good.

I played since 1.1 and this game will always be cherished by me for getting me through harsh times and being my comfort, but it's fallen out so much. The devs just don't listen to what the players suggest, making the game stagnant and feeling like a chore more and more. The character creativity has fallen off, and while the story is still good, the enjoyment in the characters you pull for and being able to feel connected are gone. It was good while it lasted.

It was good for awhile, but Hoyo became more greedy and they also refused to listen to their player base. They never implemented some really simple quality of life improvements. As the game aged, it really started falling behind it's competition. Now it feels like they are just phoning it in and even dragging out the story just to get a few more bucks. If you are interested in this style game, Wuthering Waves is a vastly superior option.

One of the best games on mobile. The graphics and gameplay are addictive. I used to play this game all the time. It used to take up less than 5 gb, but at the time, that was a lot of space for my older model phone. Now I have a newer phone with way more space on it, but Istill refuse to play a game that takes up over 30gb of space. That's just crazy. I guess this will be an old favorite that I won't be playing anymore 😆🤷🏽‍♂️

Originally gave genshin a 5* review back on the 12/12/2020, back when I was so immersed and in love with the game. Now, it's a 3* max. The game I once enjoyed and looked forward to playing is now only played for the sake of nostalgia (+ the money I spent). Sorry Hoyo, the moment you decided debuting Mavuika and Citlali limited banners together while adding the 30 free pulls to the rerun phase, I lost interest. There are more issues (bland char animation, no skip button, etc.) than I can type now.

Genshin Impact looks amazing at first—stunning visuals, great music, and a huge world to explore. But after the honeymoon phase, it quickly becomes a grind. The gacha system is predatory, with extremely low drop rates that push players toward spending money with little reward. Progress is limited by the resin system of 200 cap, which forces you to either stop playing or pay just to keep going. The gameplay gets repetitive fast. Unless you're ready to spend heavily or play with low expectations.

My friend came back and can't play anymore because everything is too hard. I can't play old favorite characters because they're too weak now. Powercreep will kill this game when new players get to more recent regions and quit out of frustration, and old players will give up because of unsatisfying boss gimmicks. It feels like the devs don't play their own game. I can't imagine the majority of them fighting a boss and thought to themselves, "this is so fun! let's share it with the players!".

This game is a chore, and I feel extremely pressured from missing limited-time events, and not getting the rewards in time, then having everyone flex on the fact that they were luckier than me. The luck in this game is atrocious when it comes to the gacha. I feel rushed, like I have to play it so I can have the experience of getting a new free 5-star. 0/10, wouldn't recommend. update: cameback once again, but now i cant even get past the loading screen

Very amazing art style, but you have to wait so LONG for one 5-star you want, as a f2p player you barely get any intertwined fates, which makes it hard to get a character you want, plus it's a 50/50 chance to even get the character you want. They should add an event that allows you to pick one 5-star of your choice (one NOT from the standard banner)
