Without paying for any extras, you can advance to the highest level (70k 🏆 points), but it is impossible to stay there for long. Don't bother trying to beat players with way better clubs or those that use special balls on every stroke, just forfeit before they score an Eagle or an Albatross on you. I have no idea where they find the challenge and fun in squashing others. Lots of "players" with the same profile pic makes me think that they are bots. Lately the server is down half the day.

This app has become awful in the last six months. DO NOT PLAY. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. I've played for years and have loved this game... before.. it was real and actually was rewarding. Now that it's been bought out, ransacked with ads, and serious lack of rewards has caused upgrades to stop still after level 10. It's clear that this free game is no longer free if you want to do anything fun after a few hours. shame on them.

The three stars I gave it is for fun, the remaining two stars it could have had is because of inconsistency. I can almost swear this game cheats for the opposing player in so many ways.. wind direction, landing in the rough. sometimes I can hit the ball perfectly and it ends up out of bounds or in the water 😂. again fun game, just inconsistent.

After playing for some time, I'd say the clubs are novel, but really, the game is a pay to play money pit. The golf balls are single use per hit, the amounts they're trying to charge for a bit of one-time use data is criminal. I'd say go with Ultimate Golf. If you want to play a golf game the visuals are excellent plays like one of the PGA games on console. The tournaments are fun/challenging the wind has a more realistic "feel" to it. The golf balls last the entire round, even the draw round.

Compared to Golf Clash and Ultimate Golf, this game looks and acts cheap... the shading on the ball makes it look like a paper cutout. the cup hole is as big as a dinner plate compared to the ball. the physics and flight are not realistic or satisfying. but overall, the game is fun. they don't give you enough coins to upgrade all the clubs that you have available, so that's kinda frustrating.

Not Realistic. The part of playing golf is watching your opponents shot. When the game goes into a tie. You can no longer see what strategy your opponent will use. The devs took away seeing the shot, allowing one to taunt the other player, and learning what you can do to become a better player. Strategy has allowed me to win but that feature does not exist no more. Game totally blows, as it was very realistic for a golf game.

Full disclosure: I'm only playing to get rewards for Baseball 9. I like that ads don't interrupt gameplay. The upgrades look cool & seem helpful. But I want to skip opponent shots. I don't want to see them line up, choose a ball, line up again, then shoot. The trajectory of the ball doesn't match up with obstacles. Both players always end up in the trees. I took the tutorial & the wind meter makes no sense. My shots never line up. The game is okay, but I'm out after my reward period ends.

Great game.But why is it a considered a privilege to use whatever club I want since you charge so much to upgrade them?Not cool how you try to rope me in for an elite pass so that I can use the clubs that I essentially already bought and should be able to use without you double dipping my wallet.And ease up on the non-stop barrage of pop-up sales.You can't play more than 5 minutes without being offered an "exclusive" deal for more money.If I want to buy something, I'll click the icon myself.

great game but are the opponents AI? I played my first two opponents and won and then synced my Facebook. it reset the entire game and I had to play from the start. Second time round the first two opponents both hit the same shots the same distances and in the same locations on the course (even had one of them hit the ball into the rough the exact same spot as the last player did). so much for playing against real people...... They had the same level, same XP and same clubs as before too

Good golf game, just to many adds, especially when there's a add inside an add. (Update) use to be a fun game to play, but now the ad's are more frequent and getting longer, some as long as 1 1/2 min. so I am losing interest and not playing as often as I used to. Sorry guys. update, now thay have ad's that are 3 of 3 not just one ad but 3, give us a break guys. 😞

this game is fun, but you have to spend money or watch a ton of ads to get the good clubs and balls. and if you do choose the ad path you have to turn on screen recorder for every ad you watch so that you have proof the ad did not give you the reward. and most of the time the file won't upload to the chat. good luck

Inconsistent gameplay, even if you learn through the tutorial. I started off by learning the way you're supposed to play by following through the available tutorials. Wind rings, debuff etc. This game has the most consistent - inconsistent gameplay I've ever experienced in a golf game. Some days I make shots, most days I miss them as if I don't know how to play. I've studied the wind rings, and know them by heart, I follow the same routine everyday, never miss a beat, I don't understand.

it's fun but, if you want to make this game your life and spend money to make it competive, then by all means download it. but to pass the time, play something else. It's definitely a CASH grab game or else you'll be matched against players that have unlimited kangaroo balls or best clubs in the game. Got to stage 11 not spending any money and it was challenging. Now I really don't play as it became insane, a par 5 opponents will albatross as it takes me 3 shot to get there. You've been warned.

Shameless. Honestly you'd think that now that they have added in literal billboard ads they would be content but nope. Now I'm getting full minute ads to progress countdown timers and gain rewards. This game must be such a ridiculous cash cow for them at this point. That's not even taking into account the absolutely ludicrous price they put on the passes and the packs. Edit now when I get an ad for something installed on my phone it OPENS THE APP?? are you kidding me?!?! Currently a 1/10 for me

UPDATE, 09/28/2025, game is much better since recent fix's, still glitches a bit, upgrades are still pricy but much better! I see they do read reviews. To better chances at winning must consistently up grade! After a while becomes stagnant and redundant. made purchases but don't want to continuously in order to keep up with players, prices are through the roof! I admit, can be addictive but don't update without testing it out next time. consider shorter ads and come down on the upgrade prices!

The game is fun to a point. The matching system is horrible. Almost seems like they purposely match you with players who's clubs are way beyond yours to keep you from getting rewards in game. Unless you're willing to spend money on the game it'll take years to be able to build you clubs up high enough to compete with a good amount of the players they match you with.

this game was always some silly arcade style golf game, unlike the more realistic WGP one. but the sudden decision to put that target on the ground was bad enough... however, adding the weird, physics defying, slow motion bounce effect is TERRIBLE. I'm not gonna go so far as to say whoever did that should be fired, but they should certainly be demoted & never listened to again when it comes to "creative input." don't "fix" what isn't broken. you broke it instead.

The game is constantly losing connection and reconnecting, even if you have a good connection on your end. I just hit a shot with a kangaroo ball, and as soon as I let go of the shot it said reconnecting, and by the time it finally reconnected it was as though I had never taken the shot and suddenly I had one second to do so, which obviously I couldn't. so it charged me a ball and a game, thanks for nothing. glitchy trash lately

It's fun if you are evenly matched. Knuckleheads, same clubs, same ball for the shootouts/ draw. If you're good, you'll win. Without special balls and better clubs; it's almost impossible to win, especially when at the draw shoot out. You can play a better game and still lose to players with trick balls. I'm still not going to purchase anything.

I first reviewed this game in 2019. It had glitches back then. Most of the glitches are gone. My rating of it does not improve, however. I would give it negative stars now. The game play is completely unrealistic. Holes are ludicrously long and rather than starting from the tee box you might start in the rough, on the fairway, or in a bunker. Plus, the developers have gotten greedy trying to charge outrageous amounts for upgraded clubs and balls. I recommend Ultimate Golf for realistic play.
