one of the worse options for the vampire survivors style of game. projectile enemies are the worst in the genre, and its not even close. baffling decisions regarding enemy speed being seemingly random leaving some contact damage unavoidable since they will just be 3 times your speed. projectiles that are lobbed into the air instead of shot forward will sometimes just not have a ground indicator, again baffling because some do but all should since most of your screen is enemies.

Meticulously crafted progression chart and fully immersive gameplay worth every bit the ask. Giving Diablo 1/2 merged with rouge vibes with albeit less gear options, offers a fresh new twist on traditionally overdone genre. Consider increasing the size of the movement mouse to prevent having to reset after leveling up and selecting a skill. There's not much going on down there so the loss of visuals due to increased size shouldn't have a detrimental effect on gameplay. 5/5 Stars; Bravo!

I buy the play pass for this game. Excellent all around. it is a grind game and the grind is real but once you start getting the gear and some upgrades it gets good. Use the Shield maiden once unlocked with block strength and crit chance then a bit of Regen and you'll be immortal. Think Diablo roguelike bulletheaven. Try it and you'll agree. Great game.

I don't get it, it's just SOOOOO repetitive and boring. I played for a while too, thinking, well maybe the cool stuff is coming but it just never does. I was going to give it props tho for at least not ramming ad after ad after ad down your throat, until I realized I only had it because of my play pass thing so, idk, there's just way better stuff out there that actually gets to the point. I gotta pass on this one fellas, clock me out.

love the overall game experience, amazing game. I wish there was a way to see character stats when choosing the armor loadout and choosing the upgrades you want to spend gold on, before you head out into one of the levels. Other than that the quest system is amazing and really gives you something more to do over other VSlikes 😁

One of the best mobile games I've played. My main complaint is it really is a time sink, even with the time reduction artifact the levels take way longer than the actual timer. I keep wanting a speed up selector, like many games have. I'm down to the last achievement and I'm already hoping for additions to the current game or hopefully a release of HOA 2.

Absolutely amazing job. So much to like about this game... from the different classes, the variety of quests that include more than just get x amount/level, and lots of small details and secrets that I won't get into. Great job devs... been awhile since a mobile game hooked me. Vampire Survivor fans should look no further, this is your new game!

I already left a review, but after playing some more, I had to edit it. This game is fantastic. the developers really put a lot of thought and time into it, and it shows. I can't help but think they took inspiration on some of it from Zelda and Champions of Norath. Some of the bad guys are very rimanisant of them. Anyway, play this game. You'll enjoy it.

So fun! Coming from vampire survivors, love the aesthetics and differences mechanically. Would like to see even more items and characters in the future! One big issue is the game has a tendency to restart on window change. Needs to be fixed. Also a huge issue is a lack of save. This would work much better as a mobile game if you didn't need to block out 30 minutes of your time to play it. We need mid-run saves.

Love this game! Best roguelike I've played similar to Vampire Hunter. Great early Diablo feel. The complaints are from people that don't understand this genre of game. You are supposed to play more and more and learn the details. Not be spoon fed them in a tutorial. One issue.. I keep getting a message stating that the game isn't fully supported yet and approved on Game Pass. Not sure why that comes up. Get this game. It was great on Steam! And great on mobile!

I picked this up after playing on steam, but very little has been done to make this mobile friendly. 30 minutes is entirely too long for a run on a mobile game, and even with the artifact that speeds it up, it only reduces it to 20. Usually you only have 5-10 minutes to kill on mobile, 20 is almost inconceivable. additionally, every time I boot this game up, it asks me to sign in to Google Games, but the Dev's certificate is out of date. Get your act together, or stop asking me to sign in.

Finally an EXCEPTIONALLY well made game, and you don't see that ever. If you are a fan of the original Diablo games, playing this will bring you back. Variety of characters, abilities, armors, upgrades and potions to aid your fight in battle, trust me, you think it's hard now, wait until you reach Agony mode. Awesome game guys, no joke, you are completely missing out. I would like to add, can you guys please add a Paladin, I love LOVE all the characters, but please, I need it! Love you guys!

great game, it's fun to play with some minor bugs like with joysticks off, auto attack on and auto aim off, the aiming line goes wonky vs with joysticks on, the line points to where you aim. otherwise I don't like the iscord button because could easily click in the main home area, it should be in the menu or even there should be an option to toggle it off, it's kind of in an annoying spot tbh, pls do fix that, otherwise pretty neat port & and easy enough to learn & get going

Quite honestly a very splendid game. This game is a wave shooter kind of game. You'll choose a character to play with and then shoot waves of demons. You upgrade your stats on the exp. you get. You can also collect very rare gear. It has a very good achievement system and rewards players especially for surviving. It's actually kind of hard and you need to think carefully about how you're building your character as you go. Very good if you're looking for a long-term investment with high rewards.

Imagine if Diablo Immortal was good. This was easily one of the best bullet heaven roguelites on PC, and it's criminal that I'm able to have it on my phone now, too. Only 2 things to be concerned about: 1). Weird minor graphical bug where the damage vignette rapidly flickers while any boss is on-screen 2). I have already experienced some frame drops and slowdown. Might need some more optimizations - probably more aggressive xp drop condensing or something like that.

I really want to rate this 5 star, but the random crashes ruining any chance to complete an entire level leave me not even wanting to play at all. I own it on PC, it's a great game, but unlike another indie title which is not even as good as this, it at least saves your progress so you're put back in the action if it crashes. Really disappointed. 😐

Grade A game. HoT is a fantastic onslaught through realms of pain. Bonus points for it's Diablo 1/2 style aesthetic. I only have two knitpicks: the quit option does not close the app. If I swipe up to see my open apps HoT is still active. Also, when picking up an item or spell, my character will be unable to move for a few panic stricken seconds. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and buy this game.

This game does a lot of things that make it more fun than Vampire Survivors or similar games. Unfortunately, many of those things (ex: equipment collection) also make it worse for Android, which will close apps running in the background whenever it decides to. This game needs to have progress saved during a run for when that happens. Statistics show most Android users spend less than 30 minutes in a game at a time, and it would be nice for the devs to take that into account.

So fun! Gameplay and sound are amazing. Characters are cool and unique. Lots of enemy variety as well as tons of quests to complete. Multiple heroes to choose from. There isn't a Vampire Survivors amount of abilities, though, but the ones here are cool and fun enough. It could benefit from having more in-game objectives to complete, but that's a minor point. Runs are long, too. 30 minutes each. Worth $5 for sure. The melee hero is BA, which I like cause they're usually weak in games like this.

One of my fav indie games of all time, love the PC version. This is a very decent port, but can be improved. A big thing I noticed is that the manual aim selection doesn't work when you hide the virtual joystick, but when you keep the joystick option the manual aim does work. Also I really wish my PC save and the supporter DLC I bought could be transferred to the mobile version. I would like the menu text pixelation feature to be added to mobile as well, as it makes the experience more immersive
