If you like Harry Potter and competing this game is for you! No ads at all but you will be very tempted to spend money on the game. Unique to other match 3 games, special items don't have to be matched to be used. And the graphics are fun, sometimes gross! Now you earn coins by playing so it is better in terms of not spending money.

Nice storyline and superb graphics, very engaging! Scenario should have less puzzles , 90 boards is too much to keep interest especially there's no new creatures or spells. Also, Make the pictures of collectibles (cards, creatures, items etc..) bigger or zoomable when showing in the info dialog! They're so cool, but all the superb detailing is lost in that tiny size!

Don't bother, games just a cash grab once you really get into it. Game used to be great, seeing from other reviews of long time players this is a pretty general consensus. Now it's a lot like playing a slot, always just one or two items from win, if you only spend a few bucks .... also they remove your option for ads once you've progressed and special items have now begin missing their target to complete the puzzle despite the fact thats what they're designed to hit.

Game takes forever to load, I can't even get in to play anything. It freeze constantly, and I love this game I can't even get in to tell my group what's going on. Please fix. Edit: all bugs are fixed and game is running smoothly! Love this game I've had it for most of the 5 years it's been out.

I have been playing this game for over a year, I got my dad hooked as well. He and I compete on who's at the highest level. I'm in the lead so far still (lvl 1801). It's such a good game. It's simple but challenging. love that you can continue playing with no major concern of losing lives. Team members help just save those coins! Go for the extra challenges.There is no need to purchase to succeed, but that's not saying don't. there's all different prices to different options.

I have literally played this game for years and now because of the ads they started putting on it, I am deleting it. Its on the screen when you're playing the game and it is so easy to hit the ad making you exit the game. I get the point that the ads are part of the reason the game is free but the location of ads is my issue. Very disappointed.

used to love this game. of all the match 3 games it's been my favorite. but they seem to suddenly be trying to get me to spend money by making it more difficult to beat games and no longer offering the ability to get more moves. not to mention, they allowed me to play another game to get gold and suddenly, at the same time, I stopped getting the rewards for it 😡

fun game, but the in-level ads need to be moved way off the board, because accidentally clicking on one can crash the game and you lose all progress (edit) dropping it another star because around level 550 the game becomes impossible to beat without a little luck and using a bunch of power-ups, and there's no longer the option to watch ads to continue, rendering the game pay to play. After trying the same level 24 times I deleted the game. Fun while it lasted

With one of the more recent updates, the option to watch ads for more moves is missing from more and more levels, forcing me to spend coins. I had a decent surplus of coins built up and now that is dwindling. The ads for more moves needs to be present every single time. And I miss the earning 500 coins for 6 consecutive wins. I love this game and my review was 5 stars for the longest time, but now I've been compelled to take off stars because of this issue.

Overall, this game is great. They nail the Harry Potter theme, theres no ads unless you opt to watch one. But if winning a level is based entirely on luck, and the game "rabdomly" giving you just the right moves, that really sucks. I'm not saying make all the levels easy, but most are impossible anymore unless you use all your resources or spend real money. Total turn off.

So many bugs that never get fixed. I have put money into this game, and it has all gone to waste because the game can't function properly anymore. I've tried to contact support, but they've moved the text box so that trying to type in it is impossible. It's a game of tapping, going back, reopening, then taping - all the while hoping you can tap into the text box. I lead a club, and I got 7 people to download and play this game, 4 of which also put money into it. We're all about to uninstall.

We watch videos for extra moves then when the video is over there's no way to get back to the game so you have to restart it and not get what we're supposed to, yet my data was used to play the video,that's called false advertisement! I'm still having the same issue with The Game as before, not fair to us, don't get what we're supposed to but you all make sure you get the data you need to play the Video.Someone isn't holding up their end of the Bargain!

*9/20/25 Update: They changed the gold packages. They no longer have the $1.99 for gold & some powerups. Now it only gets you gold.* I've bought several season passes for one of the events they have & it's nearly impossible to pass all levels & unlock the season's creature. Even playing hours a day, passing many levels daily & spending some $ on extras. Seems you'd have to break the bank & play all day. Very, very disappointing. I can imagine how bummed out kids must be with it.

EDIT: Crashes fixed - I stand by my prior sentiments: Stop manipulating your players. They're leaving & going dormant like mad because your puzzles are so blatantly frustrating in hopes of making money. I didn't mind buying the devs a cup of coffee with the monthly game rewards pack. And I used to enjoy completing puzzles. But the increasing levels of difficulty have zero appeal. It's obviously purposeful, and not random at all, when the game only gives you more combos after way too many tries.

I've been playing for over a year now. I have never had the choice to watch an add for extra moves as others have said they have. The last three weeks, since my latest update, have been horrible! Locked out of the maze, not getting rewards, and things disappearing such as the cooking game. I spend a lot of money on this game and keep getting cheated. Also, this card thing sucks! Also, when the heck is quidditch coming back?!?!

Was once a great game. You could play casually and complete levels and events. But difficulty changed in early 2025. Now you need to buy extra moves or watch 3 back-to-back ads to complete most levels. It became impossible to complete all Season event levels, even playing a couple hours every day. It's a game not a job! Stopped playing around then and recently tried it again. It's even WORSE! Same difficulty but now many ads are 2+ minutes each! Horrible.

Hardest part about this game lately is simply escaping the ads. The monopoly one forces open the play app and I kept trying to close out the ad and I kept ending up back at the store to where I just gave up and shut down the game. And many feel excessively long with multiple windows to ex out of to where it's not worth the struggle. I rather just lose the game

I've been playing this game for 4 years. Recently it started saying not to exit the game or you'd not get your reward. After playing a difficult game and spending my coins to get extra moves, it froze for about 30 seconds or so. I checked my internet connection and it was fine. My only option was to close the game. When I re-opened it, I was still on the same game but my coins were still gone. It doesn't seem fair. Why is the game freezing when it never did that before?

It used to be fun until it became a money grab. Skill is no longer needed. Power ups don't do half of what they are supposed to. Too bad, it could have been a great game if they simply let skill and fun be the focus. I think ppl would still have spent money. I rarely play anymore because it's just frustrating, no fun or relaxation anymore. Only gave 2 stars because of the graphics and variety of games within the game. All of which are more money grabs, by the way, so don't bother.

I loved this game until the recent update . Some of the graphics were blank and creatures were black , so I un-installed and reinstalled the game only to start all over again. I thought it would recognize my account. I was wrong. I was around level 56 and way up there in puzzles. Sucks I have to start over. I lost everything, all my beasts I've collected over the years playing this game. Sad!
