If you like Harry Potter and competing this game is for you! No ads at all but you will be very tempted to spend money on the game. Unique to other match 3 games, special items don't have to be matched to be used. And the graphics are fun, sometimes gross! Now you earn coins by playing so it is better in terms of not spending money.
Nice storyline and superb graphics, very engaging! Scenario should have less puzzles , 90 boards is too much to keep interest especially there's no new creatures or spells. Also, Make the pictures of collectibles (cards, creatures, items etc..) bigger or zoomable when showing in the info dialog! They're so cool, but all the superb detailing is lost in that tiny size!
Don't bother, games just a cash grab once you really get into it. Game used to be great, seeing from other reviews of long time players this is a pretty general consensus. Now it's a lot like playing a slot, always just one or two items from win, if you only spend a few bucks .... also they remove your option for ads once you've progressed and special items have now begin missing their target to complete the puzzle despite the fact thats what they're designed to hit.
Game takes forever to load, I can't even get in to play anything. It freeze constantly, and I love this game I can't even get in to tell my group what's going on. Please fix. Edit: all bugs are fixed and game is running smoothly! Love this game I've had it for most of the 5 years it's been out.
I have been playing this game for over a year, I got my dad hooked as well. He and I compete on who's at the highest level. I'm in the lead so far still (lvl 1801). It's such a good game. It's simple but challenging. love that you can continue playing with no major concern of losing lives. Team members help just save those coins! Go for the extra challenges.There is no need to purchase to succeed, but that's not saying don't. there's all different prices to different options.
I have literally played this game for years and now because of the ads they started putting on it, I am deleting it. Its on the screen when you're playing the game and it is so easy to hit the ad making you exit the game. I get the point that the ads are part of the reason the game is free but the location of ads is my issue. Very disappointed.
used to love this game. of all the match 3 games it's been my favorite. but they seem to suddenly be trying to get me to spend money by making it more difficult to beat games and no longer offering the ability to get more moves. not to mention, they allowed me to play another game to get gold and suddenly, at the same time, I stopped getting the rewards for it 😡
fun game, but the in-level ads need to be moved way off the board, because accidentally clicking on one can crash the game and you lose all progress (edit) dropping it another star because around level 550 the game becomes impossible to beat without a little luck and using a bunch of power-ups, and there's no longer the option to watch ads to continue, rendering the game pay to play. After trying the same level 24 times I deleted the game. Fun while it lasted
With one of the more recent updates, the option to watch ads for more moves is missing from more and more levels, forcing me to spend coins. I had a decent surplus of coins built up and now that is dwindling. The ads for more moves needs to be present every single time. And I miss the earning 500 coins for 6 consecutive wins. I love this game and my review was 5 stars for the longest time, but now I've been compelled to take off stars because of this issue.
Overall, this game is great. They nail the Harry Potter theme, theres no ads unless you opt to watch one. But if winning a level is based entirely on luck, and the game "rabdomly" giving you just the right moves, that really sucks. I'm not saying make all the levels easy, but most are impossible anymore unless you use all your resources or spend real money. Total turn off.
