This is the premier "Hole". All others are bad limitations. They did an update a few days ago. A major overhaul on graphics & gameplay. Turned this from a good game to an awesome one. Im on level 381 (thats an insane amount of game playing btw) & I still havent unlocked the "secret" section. I wish the devs would hint at what it takes to unlock it. Im starting to think there is no " secret level" haha. Great game but stay away from the Xbox Series X version. A complete waste of money.

Ok, there's A LOT of ads. I mean, you're forced into an ad every 3-5 minutes. But this isn't the problem. The problem I have is with the in-app purchases. I have to pay $10 for removing ads, offline gameplay, and 150 gems. That sounds good. I can make do with removing ads, but OFFLINE GAMEPLAY?? EXCUSE ME? This shouldn't be a PAID feature. And 150 gems. Sounds good right? Not when you consider that I could get double the gems for 2 DOLLARS. The game is okay, I'll give it 2 stars. But F the ads.

I just recently redownloaded this game and was so disappointed. Not only are there so many ads, but there are also only four maps now and I'm pretty sure I'm only ever playing against bots. It used to be so much fun and a good way to just waste a little time, but now it is just extremely repetitive and boring. It also lags a lot with ads that won't let me close out and problems with maneuvering when I am in the middle of the game.

Gotta fit this into 500 characters. The ads are intrusive, and during a 3 min game, the ads will pop up during a 'break period' every 60 seconds and last 30 to 45s. Reward Ads are an option. However, if you choose 'no', it gives an Ad anyway. Some games never end. During these games you're given an option to extend the time by 30s for watching a 45s ad. To play a PVP event you must watch a 45s Ad at the start and at the end of it. usually these events last about 60s and you win easily.

Awesome fun game!! it really is.... but ads SUCK. you can't even play 1 round without having over 2 minutes of ads. so if you don't want to spend $10+ for the ad free version I wouldn't bother downloading. it's really unplayable otherwise. I'll stick to playing ot on my kids tablet. it's so much more fun there with .ore options

There's no way this isn't at least 90% bots, at least while you're actively playing. I purchased the no ads option, and just launched a new game. I followed each player around the board, they all seemed to have similar names "DirtySock" "AdjectiveNoun" etc. They were all level 1 still well into 30 seconds into the match, and many of them would sit in one spot for seconds at a time before moving. I have updated the app. Same result. I can't be the only one seeing this?

Used to be a fantastic time killer and a fun game. Now completing one level requires you to sit through 2 or 3 unskippable one-minute ads including a "halftime" which literally stops you in the middle of a level and forces you to sit there and watch an ad before picking up where you left off. Naturally, this feature can be "turned off" with a $10 purchase. It's a shame to see how far this game has fallen.

Not even worth playing, let alone paying for no ads. You get an ad quite literally *every single minute*. I am not joking. The first mission You are forced into doing gives You 4 minutes to complete, and every single minute it has a "halftime" showing of a 15 to 30 second long ad. And as always, They force it down Your throat to buy and pay for "no ads". It could be, and is a good game, but this is just a horrible concept of advertising.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME! I used to like this game and paid for ad-free play as well as some add-ons. They've changed the game so that you must watch ads in order to complete the board much of the time. Sometimes it's even impossible to complete the board! Greedy cheaters! Previously: Best hole game ever! It's simple and satisfying to swallow whole cityscapes or pirate hideouts with ease into the void of oblivion. Decent/campy 3D graphics. Gameplay is similar to the inverse of Katamari Damacy.

I downloaded the game a week or so ago. I purchased the no ads the same night. I played happily for a week where I was able to eat 30 or 40 enemies in a single round, because the 5 other opponents would disappear then respawn after a few seconds. Then something happened today where now I can't. I can only eat enemies once, and then they are gone forever. That is _significantly_ less fun.

The forced ads are ridiculous. Multiple ads per level! Like God forbid we get to play for more than 1 min without an ad. On top of that, the ads crash the game. They consistently open the Play Store, and that force restarts the game. I get you want to make money, but it shouldn't be more ads than playing, and at the very least put the ads BEFORE or AFTER the game. Don't stop the game twice for ads. Also, if rounds are 3 min you can't have "halftime" ads every minute. That's not what half means.

I like listening to audio books while playing games, but this game has added a wonderful new way to drive players crazy, not only do you have to have game interrupting multi-layered ads now they play ad audio over game play that repeats and there is no way to turn off the sound or exit out if the audio ad. I will be deleting this app because of it because it's getting ridiculous being this bombarded with ads

this game is a shell of what it used to be. no more multi-player option, only ai. several ads per game, one before a game, and one after the game, as well as several just sprinkled throughout non-game time. so many pop ups, ads that play during the game on the sides and bottom of the screen, its like a dystopian nightmare honestly. a first world dystopia. I mourn the loss of the game this used to be. I dealt with the mess until just now, when I got trapped in an unskippable 5 minute ad. deleted.

it was great when it was still a website. now there's ads at least three times in one run. it is the worst thing when you're trying to play an "online game" when there's forces ads in the middle of it. you're obviously not playing with real people which is annoying and you can't choose your game mode like you could in the website. I wish these features were back and I might consider reinstalling

If you're looking for Hole.io, you've come to the wrong place. This app is Ads.io. You will spend more time watching ads than in gameplay. At one point, it was making me watch an ad every minute of gaming, sometimes skippable, sometimes 90 seconds you can't skip. I won't bother to write about the gameplay since it's such a tiny fraction of the time you'll have in the app. This developer is notorious about this kind of thing, so if you want an ad watching a simulator with a mini game, then enjoy.

UPDATE: I forgot about paying for ad free, evidently that didn't make it thru the updates. that being said, I love this type of game to just chill out, relax, and play to pass time, BUT.... ads, ads, little play time, ads, ads, little play time, ads. ad the fact I payed for ad free.... losing stars I paid the almost $4 so you don't have to. It does NOT take all ads away, only the forced ads which is less than half the amount you're gonna want to use to get the most of the game.

ads every 60 seconds, with countdown on screen I can't seem to avoid an ad every minute. You see a timer tick down. A reward or bonus or something happens. Then you're presented with an ad. I don't mean buy game currency, I mean completely unrelated to the game ad. Let me play for at least a zone or even 5 minutes before making me watch an external ad please!

The game play is fun. At least when you're not bombarded with ads. There are forced ads every 30 seconds. I didn't mind the voice-over ones as much. I understand that they have a "remove ads" package, but not many people can or are willing to pay $10 for that. I liked the gameplay, but I can't fully focus or enjoy the game with ads constantly popping up. I wanted to give e it a chance, but I only lasted an hour of playtime.

I rated this game a five when I first started playing because it was simple just eat stuff on the map now I don't recognize it anymore so I changed it to a one. To clarify you still eat stuff on the map but now you have levels to complete before it was just plain and simple play until you get bored. So to the game dev's most people do not want to "compete" while playing games they come to escape competition in their lives and this game USED to be a great way to do that.

I like this game minus all the ads .. I did pay for the no ad version, but you still have to watch ads if you want to have different styled holes. Not to mention, the levels are all just repetitive and nothing new. It's the same few "worlds" every level and it's gotten annoying. I ended up going back to my original All in Hole game - at least that game has different worlds etc vs Hole.io
