So here's my honest take on Idle Armada. I've tested a bunch of strategy games and this one's pretty solid. The core gameplay loop of building up your fleet and battling other players is really fun, and I like the prestige system that lets you try out different play styles. The graphics are nice too and it runs well even on my older phone. But I will say the upgrades can get grindy after a while and the ads are kinda annoying if you don't pay. Overall though, I'd recommend it if you're looking for a casual strategy game to sink some time into.

Description

Been playing Idle Armada for a couple months now. It’s basically a real-time strategy game where you build up your fleet of pixelated ships, upgrade them, and then send them out to battle against other players. Pretty solid app if you’re into that sort of thing.

Here’s what you do: You start off with a few basic ships and then you can upgrade them and build more. There’s also a whole job system where you can prestige into different roles that have their own upgrade trees. Took me a while to figure that part out but it’s actually pretty cool. And there are tons of loot items you can collect to give your ships extra abilities.

Look, if you’re into strategy games and don’t mind a bit of a grind, you’ll probably like Idle Armada. It’s not perfect – the upgrades get pretty time-consuming at higher levels – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an addictive game to play in your spare time.
