So here's my honest take on Ingress Prime. I've tested a bunch of location-based games and this one's pretty solid. The strategic depth is great - there's a lot of different ways you can approach capturing and defending Portals. And the clan battles add a cool social element where you can team up with friends. But it's not without its issues. The grind to upgrade stuff at higher levels can get old after a while, and the ads are pretty intrusive if you don't pay. Overall though, it's a pretty fun game that's worth a download if you're into that genre.

Description

Been playing Ingress Prime for a couple months now. It’s basically a location-based strategy game where you have to explore the real world and interact with landmarks to collect resources and take control of territory. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: You can pick a faction to join – either the Enlightened or the Resistance – and then you go around your city or neighborhood capturing these places called Portals. And there’s also PvP battles where you can team up with your faction and try to take down the other team’s Portals. It’s got a decent amount of strategic depth without being too complicated.

Look, if you’re into location-based games and real-world exploration, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want a new addictive game to play.
