I'm removing this game for a couple reason's. First, the game forces you to keep building or else you can't make money in order completions. Having to always build makes order's come to a pause therefore no money to build more building's. Second, since you have to always build then you have to always use energy and one tree takes up all of your energy so you can only do 1 thing at a time. This game is trying to force you to spend money even if you did, you still wouldn't get far.
Reviews for Klondike Adventures: Farm Game
← Back to Klondike Adventures: Farm Game+2 stars for reducing some ad times and introducing more places to get energy and for feedback responsiveness. // Most excessive, slow, and cumbersome ad experience. For every minute of play, you are forced to watch ten minutes of ads or play (not enough base energy and ad rewards too small for time invested). It's a shame, because the game concept and features are good. It feels like they don't want people to progress in the game.
10/25 Its a fun game but its not inexpensive to play and the further along a player gets on the map the more the same resources are less effective to obtain whatever they make...energy, coins, gold etc. As well as items to be removed are placed so densely it requires too much energy to clear & makes it not very fun then. Also I was shorted resources twice and both times was given a made-up explanation as I was honest & what they said happened is not what happnened. Very bad service.
update..After update why is my landscape mode gone? I have it turned on. Love the game but I have spent $100 in 1 month to be able to keep playing. I do everything to get extra energy like from the animals, the chests in the games, the gift box and anything else that gives energy. I want to be able to play more than 30 mins without buying. It's addictive, It cost to much to cut or clear things out. I mean 90 to cut out a big rock or tall tree is rediculous. Fix it or I uninstall.
Every time they do an update on the game it causes nothing but bugs. The game will not open when you try to switch locations now after the most recent update. The issues that happen the first time will still continue to happen and nothing gets fixed. Otherwise it's a good game that works only when it decides to and only if you are on the home station area. Have played the game for many years now and would not recommend anyone playing the game. Use too many lives to cut out one item.
first off I have been playing this game for 2 months. I'm long level 46. the game itself is super fun and you definitely get obsessed HOWEVER! it is definitely P2W. unless your willing to shell out $40 per side quest...you simply won't finish. you need energy to achieve and task and its entirely to expensive. it is very discouraging. the game does give you some energy back but it's nothing in comparison to what you need to finish any quest/task. if they fixed this I'd give 5 stars
it's been fun, it can be slow and can get frustrating trying to get energy as you get further in the game and need more to advance than earlier levels. I'm currently extremely frustrated because the app keeps loading and freezing on a tutorial of a new level/map I unlocked. it won't let me click on anything or move forward. just a warning to anyone getting close to the Traders section. it's fully frozen for me and I can't move on.
Multiple time sensitive events run at a time, with minimal energy being offered at a time without paying for it, leaving you no way to finish anything. Rewards are mostly useless items. Repeated issues with the game not letting me spend Google play credits so I can't even buy any upgrades if I wanted to. Absolutely worthless tbh and there are better options out there.
it's fun but impossible to make progress without spending $. I started playing it to get Fetch points, but probably end up spending more than I get back on Fetch. I'm on level 19 and my progress is coming to an end due to not having the resources needed to continue. I'd have to purchase them. it is fun and addicting. just disappointed that I built so much and will have to quit. watching ads has helped avoid some purchases. so you'll have to watch every single ad opportunity to get energy.
It's really too bad because I do like the gameplay, but I I'm about to uninstall this game. Too many pop-ups explaining parts I don't care about. Too much story. Also, you have WAY too many BUY THIS! pop-ups. It's ridiculous how many I have to click out of. Honestly? I don't really care about the deeper story or your events. I just want to play. I also don't appreciate being forced to tap or open things just so I know they are there. Stop taking away my gameplay!!!
It had plenty of varied gameplay, for better and worse. It offers several ways to progress through levels, but like most games in this genre, it can get overwhelming with several steps to get a specific item that get added to requests more frequently as you level up. It would also be nice to have the option to clear cache after the data from past events slow down the loading screens instead of uninstalling and reinstalling.
What is going on with all the shutting down for construction lately? I get happening every now and then but it's become more and more necessary and for extended periods of time. Usually the game gives a warning but this morning no warning, kicked me out the game and was down for about 40-50 min. Also a few updates ago, the birds take a long time to produce eggs. They continuously say there are searching for feed when feed is available making the time it takes for egg production much longer.
Like many people on here, I ran into the wall where it was impossible to progress without spending money. Even just clearing one tree out of your way could cost 75-100 energy, and you can only passively save 50 energy at a time. Fun idea, peaceful game world, cool mechanics, ruined by predatory gaming practices that are pretty ubiquitous across the mobile space at this point. Oh well, fun for a bit.
Initially liked the game. Then after a week or so of playing it becomes impossible to play for more than a few minutes at a time since you immediately run out of energy and can only replenish 50 at a time. One particular task requires you to collect 20 of a specific object and each object takes 40 energy just to collect. I don't mind watching ads for energy but I wish there were more ways to obtain energy to play or at least able to restore your energy faster. Will most likely delete game
I really really like this game, I was an avid player of Stardew Valley and it is somewhat similar. However I'm at Level 25 now and everything is soooo throttled. The game is unplayable. I can log in, do ONE action and I'm out of energy. It seems intentional that your ways of getting energy in game are very limited and not sufficient. If you focus only on doing orders on the board, you have to wait ages for things to process. I am disabled and dependent on others so can't afford this game. 😭
I've played this game since at least 2018 and loved it. If you planned well, you could keep playing. Then they changed the art style to look like every other game, and that was bad enough, but it was most unfortunate when it turned into another money hungry Gatcha game. You used to be able to get some really cool items during events, now it's nearly impossible. Lastly, nobody has time, nor wants to to sit through 15 pop up windows just to be able to play a game.
Enjoyed it very much at firstborn made the mistake of making a purchase. That turned into many purchases, weekly subscription, extras for special events which brought me to the point of not being able to do anything without dropping $ 75+ a week. Your energy renews up to 80, but you need 1,000 to get anywhere in any of the lands, events etc. When it reached the point where the game was actually expecting more purchases, I was completely turned off. Just deleting
I recently began playing Klondike and found the experience disappointing. The game requires an excessive amount of energy and gems to progress, which seems to be a strategy aimed at forcing players to make in-game purchases to continue. Unfortunately, this makes the game feel more focused on monetization rather than providing an enjoyable experience. Additionally, the storylines feel unnecessarily drawn out, leading me to skip through them frequently. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend.
Theory behind the game is great. However, the slowness of the game is disappointing, and I typically do not mind slower moving games. Pretty obvious money grab. Also, being a bit of a perfectionist, it is incredibly annoying that you can't make fences into a fully enclosed area, and the animals constantly wander off.
This was a fun game... I'm about to remove it though... it requires to much space, and just to keep playing, you need to make purchases. I am at a point though where I get plenty of rewards that help with the energy needed, but like someone said previously on one task u have to collect several items and each item can need 40 energy just to collect... it also doesn't always load. I love the slow pace of the game because sometimes I'm doing things in between just too much space and money needed.
