I've tested a bunch of story-based games and Life is Strange is one of the better ones. The time-rewinding mechanic is a cool twist that lets you really explore the consequences of your choices. The writing can be a hit or miss, but the characters are compelling and the mystery will keep you hooked. It's not the most polished game out there, but the emotional impact makes up for it. If you're a fan of story-driven adventures, this is definitely worth your time.

Description

Been playing Life is Strange for a couple months now. It’s basically a narrative-driven adventure game where you play as Max, a photography student who discovers she can rewind time. You use this power to try and solve the mystery of a missing student in your small town.

There’s a lot of cool stuff you can do – you can rewind time to change how events play out, which impacts the story and the future. It’s got some striking hand-painted visuals that really set the mood. And the story is pretty well-written, with a lot of interesting characters and moral choices to make.

Look, if you’re into story-driven games with consequences, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the pacing can be a bit slow at times, and the dialogue can be a little cringeworthy. But overall, it’s a solid narrative adventure that’s worth checking out.
