Reviews for Lily’s Garden - Design & Relax

Updated review: I started playing this game 5+ years ago but had taken a nearly 2 year break from it because I found the island arc boring and hated that there's no way to get back to the original garden to change out all the seasonal decorations I worked so hard to earn. Well, I tried the game again today and was immediately overwhelmed with so many events and specials and in-game purchases that it sucked the fun out of playing. Plus, I swear some of the puzzles are totally rigged against you.

Good storyline, but there are a lot of events that push you to spend money. But what bothers me the most and will be the reason I stop playing is that the renovations done to the beautiful, classic buildings look tacky and modern. I wish there was an option to keep the original design for the buildings and just repair the cracks.

I made a purchase YESTERDAY afternoon for the Pass -$9.99+.70 tax =$10.69 with 5? days remaining....I only received a few of the rewards and they removed it and replaced it with another yesterday evening....I had to purchase the other one and it didn't give me any of the benefits except one. Now I'm stuck on a level that I cannot beat without BUYING boosters and coins. BEWARE: WHEN YOU PURCHASE ANY IN-APP BOOSTERS/COINS, THEY WILL MAKE IT SO YOU HAVE TO USE THEM ALL ON THE NEXT 2 OR 3 PLAYS.

it should never take days for your algorithms to finally let someone win a game. When this happens it just makes me want to throw your game designers through a wall. I am not a violent person by nature. Games are supposed to be fun not torture!!! Reply: It gets really bad the whole way through the forestry section. It is not one level but most of them. It is extremely rare in that section to get a string of 2 wins. The estate section has some tough areas but this one is crazy. with 14 updates?

Ads are misleading. I've been playing this game for years and my level is in the multiple thousands. I have never seen gameplay like what they are advertising right now. I think they are just bandwagoning on 'oh help the poor woman' misogynistic ads that a lot of the other developers are serving. It's a great game but nothing like what they are advertising. They really need to play to their strengths rather than hopping on the latest ad craze. OMG so relaxing! OMG help the poor woman! OMG IQ++!

game will make you lose to try and get you to spend money. It's not random. for example if you need blue squares you will go 8-10 moves without a single blue square dropping down. it will change the color of potion bottles to one that only has 3-5 on the board when it was originally a color that you've now loaded the board with. to your response, I've completed every level possible, doesn't change my review. not random at all, you've put an algorithm that doesn't give you colors you need

I've been playing this game for years. No ads! I'm on level 13,282. Yep, you read that right! I still enjoy the matching games, every once in a while they add a wrinkle to it like you need to "hit" something with a rocket instead of just matching it. I also enjoy the side games. The storyline has kept me engaged. I like that you can choose how to decorate, not just have a "swoop" do it for you. Unfortunately, I have apparently played it to the end of the story. It says more is coming. I hope so

I love this game it's so addicting! But the reason I didn't give 5 stars is the fact that I cannot save my progress in Google. I've already had to restart the game from level 1 after reaching level 2,000 something and I won't do it again. I've been playing all together around 3 years, so PLEASE make saving your progress available on Google.

really hate how some ads restart the game entirely. Especially when you just needed two more chances, and that's what the ad gives. Then the ad messes it all up by restarting the game making you re-do the level. This game used to be better. The ads have gotten much, much longer, with predatory trickery. The X button often leads you to the download app, which you have to back out of, before hitting X a second time.

Not at all relaxing anymore, but it has become very stressful while trying to complete all the tasks. There are way too many ads. You must watch ads and be able to make in-app purchases to complete some of the tasks. It appears that their AI makes levels more difficult to pass as you get closer to earning a reward. Basically, it feels like the AI controls the game and whether or not you pass levels. I think I will be taking a break from Lily's Garden for a while.

I've played this game for years. it's always been fun, if not a little too challenging. But I always prevail. However an update has changed how the booster combos behave. The rockets and bombs now all activate simultaneously, instead of one by one. This completely changes the physics of the game and renders the game EXPONENTIALLY more difficult. I'm past level 14000. The game was already plenty difficult. Now it's unplayable. Thanks for the memories, I suppose.

I absolutely loved this game. I've spent a lot of money on this game. the last two weeks graphics either freeze or do a repeat motion in warp speed. the last 3 days it repeatedly crashes. I've contacted tech several times and they tell me it's my phone. I've done everything they advise and it still happens. Today after having my phone on for 5 minutes using no other apps, it immediately crashed upon launch. I tried again and once I was able to get it launched, the game froze. Please fix it!

Just started playing. Fun so far. Been playing for over 3 years now. Love the game and the story line. Love all the side games as well. It's really a fun game and if you just be persistent you CAN win all levels, some are just really hard. Be patient. Update 9/7/25. Love that the game has no ads, unless you want to choose to watch one. Comes in very handy at times, like 2 extra moves instead of spending coins to play on. Doubling your coins after winning. Or get extra boosters B4 starting

I originally gave this a 5-star review and played it all the way out so far I was waiting for new levels to come out. I took a couple of years off from playing, and when I signed back in with my email today, my entire account was gone. All those levels and the money I spent are just gone. It wanted me to start over. I will absolutely not be playing back through thousands of levels, and I definitely, won't ever spend any money again.

I've played a lot of matching games, and most have been fun. This ONE is different, in the best way possible. I love the storyline and the characters - except for shady Cousin Larry and Lily's insufferable ex, Blaine. There's definitely a mystery going on with all of Lily's great-aunt Mary's photos sprinkled everywhere. Great graphics too.

This app was a dream! I was enjoying the story line and the ability to actually get through the levels and be able to get further in the game. However, when you reach Day 8, the color matching becomes nearly impossible to accomplish. I've had to do the last 15 or so games at least 8+ times just to win and it's drained all my resources. It's no longer enjoyable! I'm about to give up and uninstall it! Why make levels so impractical and difficult to win? Do you not want people to continue playing?

I've been playing this game years, I really love the different story lines and plots. It's engaging and keeps you wanting to play. They also include diverse characters, including LGBTQ. I decreased my star ratings however, because the levels are just extremely hard to pass, and have been for quite a while now, compared to other tactile games. I get frustrated and log out and play other games instead, which is pretty sad considering I used to play this game all the time.

this was a great game until they screwed up the volley mechanics during the last update. now it takes 2-3 volleys to accomplish what 1 did in the past. that ends up eating gold and specials at a very irritating rate. added to that is the loss of the occasional offer to get extra moves by watching an ad. some players lost it long ago, but others kept it until recently. not very fair. i routinely buy the passes. if these things arent fixed im taking my time and money elsewhere.

I want to give this 5 stars, I really do, but I can't. I absolutely love playing this game and the storyline is fantastic and keeps me coming back. I have one major issue with this game. I cannot save my progress. I click on save my progress, continue with Google, and then read the terms of what Lily's Garden will do, and then I will click continue. It brings me back to Lily's Garden but reloads in, and doesn't save my progress still. It won't ever. I have tried 20 times per day for a week.

The amount of updates have always been excessive... But two days in a row I've had to update the game... You should really try and update everything at once... I mean I really like this game. It is challenging yet still fun and entertaining. The story lines are sometimes drug out and the events bonus areas will throw in a part of the story that's just off course... Kudos for adding the gifts from the friends from the story. I do like that and that u don't have to immediately accept the gift
