Reviews for Little Nightmares

Not really playable with mobile controls. Died about a dozen times in the first section with actual enemies due to poorly responding controls. Floating joystick makes speed control impossible, swipe to jump just... doesn't work unless it wants to. Seems like a fun game. Wish I could play, but currently wayyyy too frustrating for me to enjoy it.

I'm glad it's on Android now, but it crashes in the beginning consecutively every time I try jumping up towards a lever after I've dodged some leeches. It needs a patch already. Otherwise besides that, it's a good game nonetheless, but really needs to be stable. Maybe add an autosave point after the first few leeches. I hate having to drag the chair over and over again. Last autosave was on a mattress to the left of that chair and hanged corpse. Please patch ASAP. I've been wanting to play this.

I'm honestly impressed. The original is one of my favorite games to casually speedrun, and this port delivered the same satisfying flow of progression (along with the familiar jank). Colors seemed a little washed out (had to increase the brightness for some specific platforming), but otherwise, everything felt the same as I remember. Including graphics toggles and multiple UI options was very much appreciated. Immersive was my favorite (despite the occasional jank). Nice work, everyone.

My favorite mix of puzzles and horror! Reminds me of a dark twist to Studio Ghibli's "Spirited Away". Mobile gameplay is always a little wonky with controls, so I'm not complaining, and the buttons take some getting used to, but its fun having the challenge. I have LN 1&2 on Switch, and can't wait for Little Nightmares 3!!!

This port of the original game was a huge disappointment. The screen is almost completely pitch black and chase scenes are made very difficult due to the almost impossible to see obstacles. Even worse, my game has been plagued with a bugged death behavior. Randomly when I get caught, the screen fades to black....and just stays like that. I can't continue playing unless I close and reopen my game, in which my progress doesn't save up until 3-4 screens prior. The visual glitches also dont help.

Personally I love the Little Nightmares franchise and have Both LN1 and LN2 on my Nintendo switch. I also got Very Little Nightmares on my phone. So when I saw this game came out I decided to also purchase it. Game is phenomenal but my only complain is the controls. The circle pad doesn't lock to place and moves around when I'm trying to navigate through the game,it mainly moves when I try and run. Other than that the game is pretty fun. Hopefully it can get a fix.

I absolutely LOVE all the Little Nightmares Games, but it's very hard to play on Z Fold 4 Phone or on a mobile phone trying to learn the frustrating controls on how to move your character around in the game! I absolutely LOVE playing this game on my Nintendo Switch, but even on my Switch learning how all the controls & the sequences of all the different buttons work & do different movements/tasks for your character can be challenging, overall fantastic game play, & the game doesn't disappoint!

One of my favorites but, I haven't not been able to get passed the "guests" crawling after you, where you need to jump to a lantern to move onto the last level, literally have tried like 8 times, and I go to jump and it's like I'm getting stopped right before I jump (I DON'T stop running when I press the jump button) and miss the lantern by a hair, it is not that difficult in the console version AND I've been able to do jumps like this completely fine, it's just suddenly being really weird.

I love the game, but please, the controls are iffy. Getting the speedrun Hard to the Core achievement is impossible with the controls being wonky as they are. Like sometimes it doesn't let you jump if you don't reset your movement and let go and then start running again. Please fix the controls so the achievement is possible. They cause death. Could you make it so like, you can hold crouch instead of toggle it?

This is a must play game for sure!! I absolutely really enjoyed this game. The graphics are on point, and with great sound, gotta play with head phones to get the full experience. I love the story line to the game in whole, the only thing I would say is a little frustrating at times, but not a deal breaker is the controls they can get a little frustrating at times, but overall,a absolutely awesome game, highly recommend playing it,you won't be disappointed.

Honestly, one of the best games I've ever played. Little Nightmares is and has been an incredibly interesting game since its original release as a console game. Their going mobile with it, in my opinion, is an amazing thing, and I'm glad Bandai Namco could do so with the partnership of Playdigious. General quality of the game is high, graphics, controls are intuitive etc. The plot and lore are an amazingly interesting thing to, for those who have access to YouTube I suggest SuperHorrorBro's vids

I was waiting for months for little nightmares to come to mobile. Everything looks great, but the controls are really wonky. There were also a couple bugs. I had to uninstall the game when I first bought it because it didn't work. Besides the few errors the game runs smoothly. Little nightmares is one of my favorit games, but this version definitely needs some patches and fine tuning

I love this game. The level of detail, creepiness, immersion, and quality storytelling without actually speaking makes it incredible. My issue is the lag. I'm not using a low-end device, but the lag makes some sections very, very hard to play. The controls are a bit sticky, too. Overall my favorite game, just needs some fine-tuning!

It's honestly a pretty good port. The fine motor controls are a little wonky, but they were like that to a degree on the console version too. I like they they changed grabbing things from a hold to a toggle. The biggest issue I have with it is getting six in place to grab things can be a little difficult. Other than that, the graphics look really good, even on my phone screen, I'm not having any lag and the controls themselves are both intuitive and responsive.

The game is critically acclaimed, and it remains so here. However this transfer to touch screen is a bit shaky. Visually it's great. I'm playing on max graphics, 120fps and there's no lag at all. My slight complaint is the controls. More precise actions are a bit difficult, like picking things up or grabbing something to climb, once in a while. Joystick control feels slightly clumsy, even after a lot of adjusting. Other than that it's pretty good. I hope to see fine tuning in the future.

Face your fears...on the go! Little Nightmares has always been one of my favorite videos games to play on my Xbox. I'm so glad that it's now playable on my phone so I can take it with me wherever I go. Sure the graphics go down and the controls are different, but the game is still the same. I always find myself coming back to this game whenever I'm bored and need something to do on my phone. Great game, hope it's DLC will be added to mobile and hopefully one day Little Nightmares 2 as well.

This is the most played game on my phone! My only issue is the controls, but Little Nightmares as a whole works better on controller. If your phone supports controller that'll make gaming easier. I like that it isn't perfect. I remind myself it's an on-the-go version at a heavy discount, so there are going to be flaws. I love finding flaws in Little Nightmares, that's what makes the franchise so enjoyable. Can't wait for Little Nightmares II mobile! (At least DLC?)

Its unplayable after a certain point for me. the mobile controls aren't reliable for moving in a straight line and I have had a really hard time with the range of depth in the game in relation to this without accessibility. But the main issue is that during the janitor chase after escaping the shoe monster, I'm teleported to the janitor and I'm caught when the elevator opens even if I'm undetected until then. I can't get past this point because this bug happens every time I try to get past it.

⚠️ If installed with power-saving mode on. The game launches with a permanent black screen which can only be fixed by reinstalling with power-saving mode off. Toggling it off and clearing data is ineffective. Review: Little Nightmares is one of the all time best indie Horror/Suspense games. The mechanics are simple, but the story-telling and guidance are entirely visual. So if you dribble when you speak and are used to hand holding. You're gonna' have a bad time.

The game itself is amazing, but unfortunately it's very difficult with the mobile controls, so I ended up downloading it for free on my pc instead. Would recommend though for anyone to play if you want a good aventure game. I'm glad you can play it with a controller, although it still made it difficult because she wouldn't face the way I wanted her too, nor would it allow me to rotate the camera.
