I've been playing this game for years and it's been fun (5 stars), but recently the game won't load for long periods of time. The game randomly closes out, and in the worse times like in a fight or AQ/AW ruining things not just for you but your team as well. I've tried using different phones and tablets to download the app it doesn't seem to make a difference, the game still closes on me. It's getting to the point of deciding on continuing to play a game with that makes it so difficult to play.

This game is a complete pay to win style of game. Once you reach a certain point in the game it is impossible to complete without spending some serious money. The only bugs that ever get fixed are ones that benefit the players, anything else goes months with the only answer being "we are looking into it". The crystal system for getting new characters is a joke as 9 times out of 10 your going to get a junk character unless you are a big spender. Avoid this game unless you have deep pockets and are looking for a way to spend your money.

Update: Some improvements in awards have been made, but still cautious. Been playing this game for almost two years. It was great for awhile but honestly I feel the developer is trying to cash out. Kabam has destroyed the game. The game play has changed and now is so inconsistent. I've spent money on the game for good deals to build my champs, but now there is so many cheap shots and unavoidable damage hoping to entice you to spend even more money. At end game level it is pay to win.

Fun enough, a lot of characters to choose from, if you can get them. HUGE issue with the game CONSTANTLY glitching and just straight crashing. I can't tell ya'll how many times I'm in the middle of playing and the game will just close out. Then when you log back in only 1 or 2 times does it recover your fight and the other 8 or 9 times, you're at half health and the defender is back at full.

Frustrating!! It is nearly impossible to get new characters. It was fun for the 1st month, but getting new characters is a random process. I haven't gotten a good new character in the last 75 opportunities. I keep getting duplicates, and I don't have that many. Don't bother spending time trying to get new characters. It's not worth it. Edit 11/14/19 This game is still screwing me over with lame characters. This game has great characters, but you never get the ones you want. Seriously annoying.

The game itself is super fun, but there are some big negatives about it. The constant barage of push notifications is annoying, but the most annoying thing ablut the game is how often it tries to push you into spending money. It seems like every few matches it pushes a "special get this now for only...!!" on you that requires two popups to get rid of because they want to make sure you dont want to miss out on this special to spend money... They will/do constantly try to get your money...

Difficulty just means the computer will insta block you and attack you faster than you can react. Be prepared to learn the 20 different types of currency needed to do anything. example. want to upgrade your champion? well you need gold and iso for that. until they reach a certain level, then you need to rank up in order to continue to level. you need catalyst (all off different types and levels themselves) to do that. bottom line. mediocre game designed to suck money in order to advance faster.

It's a great way to kill time while exploring entertaining and challenging storylines. Battlegrounds can be as rewarding as it is frustrating. Try not to put all of your eggs in one basket. Instead, spread them out. This way, your roster grows more fully and evenly. As opposed to having your favorite character being a powerhouse, and the rest of your team getting flatlined when the starting bell rings. I'm still waiting for my achievements for completing Acts 1 and 2... It's been almost a year.

Pay to play, whale to progress. I played this game for 4 years after launch. I hit a pay wall and couldn't get past it without having to buy at least $100 worth of crystals. After that I hit a whale wall and refused to keep going. Theres certain champs you need for certain parts and you won't get them without buying hundreds of dollars worth of gold to summon with. I stopped playing after they introduced 5* heros. It was damn near impossible to get a single 5* without buying a bunch of stuff.

The cost of in-game purchases is ridiculous. The rates need to come down, its asinine to pay 1000 units... 1500 units... for package. When you look at the cost of units and understand the "exchange rate" to real money, it's ridiculous. Value is in what customers are willing to pay... a majority of customers are F2P and not whales. Often you have to pay to stay relevant in the game and that's the most frustrating part, unless you can spend your whole life only playing a game.
