This is basically a much more polished version of Taiko no Tatsujin; With even more customization and attention to detail than even Namco has been able to achieve in their own franchise. I absolutely cannot reccomend this enough to other rhythm gamers or fans of the Taiko series. I have bought it on PC, phone and will probably buy it a third time if I get a switch and still feel like I've gotten more than a good deal because of the near infinite replay value and production quality. 10/10
Reviews for Muse Dash
← Back to Muse DashThe game is phenomenal. It's a great time sink with amazing and catchy music and with a free DLC song every week it's amazing. And if you're able to I suggest getting the Nintendo switch port of the game which comes with all the DLC at a higher price of course. Also I strongly recommend that you follow what the game says about wearing wired headphones for the best experience it's not that wireless headphones don't work it's just awkward in some cases. 10/10 great game.
Cant say im much of a rhythm game fan but the flashy graphic style and lovely girls caught my eye so decided to try it. I really like the idea of a life bar that can be healed and "fighting" the enemies/notes. Looks gorgeous even if it can be a bit of a color assault on my eyes and hard to stay focused. Lovely character design with some cool skins, some of which can be unlocked through gameplay. Definitely seems like there's a bunch of songs in the base game alone to unlock as well.
It's better on Steam. There's a little lag time between the action and tapping on the phone, but not on the computer version. And the game is just way more satisfying with the keyboard. Also, I bought the complete game on Steam, and even though I can connect my account on here, I can not play the dlc songs. Looks like they want you to purchase the dlc twice, along with buying the base game twice. Thumbs down for the phone version, but thumbs up for the Steam version.
I was worried about downloading this game because of the bad reviews, but it works just fine for me! The actual gameplay is great. It's pretty unique in my opinion, and different from other rhythm games on the app store. It's a somewhat similar to Taiko, if you know about that game. The song selection is nice, and the DLC packs seem very worth it. However, if you're trying to decide what platform to buy this game on, I own and prefer the PC version. Your save transfers across platforms, too!
It's a great Rhythm game in my experience, although you need to adjust your tap and visual offset to get the full experience of the game. Otherwise, you'll rage thinking that you hit a "Perfect" when the game thinks you only hit a "Great". Moreover, the songs are good, I just don't like how you have to pay for the game, and then pay for more content, although from my experience, the prices seem fairly reasonable. Overall great game, would recommend to other rhythm game finatics out there!
I love this game! I debated on getting it for so long because of the purchase but hey 1.99 isn't THAT bad. Only two things that I have an issue with, is that when I try to open the app up it sometimes crashes and takes me a minute or two to reopen it without it crashing. The other thing is that sometimes it is delayed, I even messed with the settings to see if I had it wrong but it's just a thing that sometimes happens. OVERALL I love it 100%, music, characters, and the rhythm base gaming.
I rarely really enjoy Mobile games, but this is one of the few I really like. It's a simple, cute, and fun rhythm game. My only complaint is that the sound effects do not sync with the beats when you hit enemies; this threw me off and led to me muting sound effects. Also, just as a suggestion, I think this game would be really fun with a story mode, user-created levels, and dialogue for the little helpers.
I love the game but all my data got deleted randomly and I can't get it back. That means most of my characters are gone. Still got my purchases though so it's not all bad. I'll just try and work my way back up. Because other than this problem I encountered, the game is really really good. Worth playing and having. Anyway I've taken a couple months off the game as a break once my data got wiped but I'm back and ready to climb again. I will enjoy this game because it is a great game. Goodluck.
Gonna be honest I have not played this game for this long only on level 9 but it's worth it. I dont ever buy games as I dont see a point as there are other tons of free, but I said what the heck and bought it. It's so much fun and even though I'm not a good player I have so much determination to get a full combo on a song even if it takes a hour it's so much fun to play 10/10 if anything changes I'll update but I doubt it. The characters are so colorful and interesting despite only being three.
I've seen this game multiple times on the app store but never took an interest in the game. Ended up picking up this game on android just because I saw the dlc pack on DJMRV when it used to be on the gamepass. Gameplay wise, Its simple enough to pick up and play and song list is massive. For a game thats 2.99 (iirc), spending an extra 33 and paying an additional 4.99, its worth it imo.
I've been playing this app for about an hour in total, and it's definitely one of the best rhythm games out there! What attracted me the most was the colorful art style, but I enjoy the tracks as well. The main game mechanic has a little twist as you fight monsters to the rhythm and beat. The three base characters: Rin, Buro and Marija have different outfits to up different stats or benefits as you play the game which I really like. Little elfins also help out!
I had this game on my Switch, so I thought getting it on my phone would be fun too! I don't know why I didn't expect to have to play for additional music tracks.. Maybe because i had just done a one-time purchase on the switch. But I wasn't going to spend all the money a second time. Still a very good game, its one of the only rhythm games I find to be playable for me. Its a lot simpler than ones with like, 50 places to press and the timing actually seems to make sense. Plus its cute!
I've played Muse Dash on Steam for a couple of years now, and I can 100% confirm the base game is worth $3. This is one of the only mobile music rhythm games that has the notes line up with the music properly. The art is great, characters are cute, and the music is spectacular. If you enjoy the base game and play it often, then the $34 price for the extra content (characters, elfins, songs, illustrations, and a few bonuses) is worth it.
Amazing game. I bought it super early on. It may have been before the first dlc pack dropped if none were available at launch, and since then i've bought it 2 more times. 2nd time on here, got season pass, then i bought the full (all dlc) version on switch. I play it on switch more than anything because it's an actual game system, regardless, the game runs very even on not so new devices. It is harder to run than most 2d rhythm games though. Worth every penny of the $40+ i've spent so far.
Fantastic Rhythm Game, I just have one major issue. Sure it's not that big but kinda upsets me. I played this game on mobile first and I loved it. So much that i bought the music pack for something like 25 dollars. I learned that you can sync and play on PC. I play much better on PC. All your data transfers over, just not the music pack. So I would need to rebuy on steam for 30 dollars. Very disappointing because I keep all my stuff on transfer when I play some like hearthstone on PC and phone.
This is really awesome! but there is something that is bothering me, The hit sound effect is a bit delayed everytime I play, It's hard to catch up into the music's beat because of the delay in hit sound effects. I thought it was the offset, but i tried everything and it's still delayed. I hope you can improve the game to prevent this from happening
I love this game. amazing songs, cute characters, fun gameplay, except theres a problem that bothers me; when im playing a song especially in hard or master mode, the character stops following the notes when im tapping. i dont think it's from my phone because i tried everything to avoid it, my fingers aren't sweaty too. it just gets me mad every time. please fix this.
I've only had Muse Dash for less than a day and it's a cool game. I downloaded it because I heard alien stage was on this app, and I got the dlc. I realized maybe I shouldn't have spent on this game, and went to play store to refund my purchase. For some reason, no matter what, it won't let me refund my purchase. And I re-downloaded it to restore my purchase on the dlc, but the option wouldn't come up :
Amazing game but unable to buy DLC due to a known bug that has been around for months. If you get an error about a show connection preventing you from purchasing any DLC, it's not you it's the game. I've tested on multiple networks and with VPN all to no success. Will change my rating once this bug is fixed and I'm able to buy Muse Plus. EDIT: Was able to purchase the pass finally on 6/1/25. Changed rating to a 4* since it's such a good game but should honestly be a 3* due to the headache.
