Reviews for Palmon: Survival

This game feels uninspired, following the same generic format used in countless other games. There’s nothing original or unique in its design. I was hoping it wouldn’t be another pay-to-play grind, but unfortunately, it is. At first, progress is smooth, and expansion feels rewarding, but before long, it becomes tedious and frustrating. Even if you're a big Palworld fan, I’d recommend skipping this one. The real game is far better.

The introduction of the game is excellent - it's gameplay that actually matches those fake ads. You run around your island picking up resources and spending them, unlocking stuff. After about 20 minutes of this fun gameplay, it switches to a different gameplay that I did not find as fun. Would like to see a full game of that first segment type gameplay that is always used in fake ads

The game is advertized as a single player strategy game, however, this is just another PvP base-building game like so many others on this platform. While the game has an appealing style, it's also not tied to the original Palword developers: Pocket Pair. Be aware of the actual game you're going into if you're looking to try out the game. It's in the same vein as Lilith's other games, such as Rise of Kingdoms.

I read a lot of reviews saying there are no ads. While there are no ads for other games, the screen is bloated with ads for in game items from the get go. After playing two days I've hit the progress wall which is so common with these types of games. the time lock hurdles are implemented specifically to get you to spend money to advance. The characters are cute and the artwork is nice. But it's nothing that hadn't been done. Cash grab reskin of old concepts

Pay 2 win garbage. The farming aspect of the game is incredibly weak. This is another one of those base building games where you build up to fight others. There is nothing wrong with that. The problem lies in powerful advantages being paywalled. Upgrading twice as much, more powerful creatures, more resources. Free players stand no chance.

pay-to-win. I've played similar games, I was really enjoying the game for free. I was deciding on spending a few dollars until I tried linking my account and realized Lilith are the developers. I've had issues with them in the past as they change the game to make items you paid so much money basically worthless. as soon as I realized it was Lilith, with no hesitations uninstalled game.

I was really excited about this game based on the advertisement I saw on YouTube. It pulled me in, and I was really interested in playing and finishing the mission within the time limit. But, after it quickly got stale and very repetitive. Please do not believe the advertisement, the gameplay is NOTHING like the actual gameplay of the game. Also, don't really know how they got the 4.8 rating when most of the reviews were highly negative.

it's ok, but very glitchy. I cant access the generator so most of the season i cant do. other parts of the season are broken as well, such as the summoning part. outside of the seasonal event there isn't much to do and watching others play is pretty boring after awhile. not sure if this glitch stuff is a one off or is normal for this game but I'll probably quit bc it's pretty boring and glitchy. most of the problem is no customer support. if there's a problem your on your own. Just bots.

It's a stupid city builder. One of those multi-player, city builders that are an absolute waste of time. Talk about unoriginal. Uninstalled immediately the second I hit that part. Beginning is okay but nothing like the ads. Don't waste your time if you were expecting something different than "Rise of Kingdoms" or "Whiteout Survival". It's the exact same thing.

I enjoyed this one a lot, currently still growing and evolving so there is room for growth but overall I really enjoyed the game, the mechanics and the play. I do not like all the heavy online guild/league stuff, but that is my personal preference. I've made a couple small purchases but I've found for the most part the game is still enjoyable as a free to play, it may take slightly longer but all the goals feel obtainable without purchasing which I truly appreciate.
