So here's my honest take on PegIdle. I've tested a bunch of casual strategy games and this one's pretty solid. The core gameplay loop of aiming and shooting to clear boards is super addictive, and I like all the different peg types and upgrades you can unlock. And visually it looks great and runs smoothly even on my older phone. The clan battles are a nice social feature too. That said, some of the higher-level upgrades take forever to grind out, and the ads can get a little annoying if you don't want to pay. But overall, if you're into this type of game, I'd definitely recommend giving PegIdle a try.

Description

Been playing PegIdle for a couple months now. It’s basically a game where you aim and shoot your balls at pegs to clear the board. Each time you clear a board, a new one spawns in with different types of pegs – like golden pegs that give you gold, or prestige pegs that earn you prestige points. The goal is to just keep clearing boards and upgrading your balls and bucket to go further.

There’s a ton of strategic depth to the game, with over 150 different prestige upgrades you can unlock. You can join a clan and battle with friends too, which is where it gets really fun. Though it does take a while to grind out some of those higher-level upgrades.

Look, if you’re into casual strategy games, you’ll probably dig PegIdle. It’s free-to-play and the ads aren’t too intrusive. Not perfect, but it’s a pretty solid time-killer that’s easy to pick up and play for a few minutes at a time.
