So here's my honest take on Pikmin Bloom. I've tested a bunch of these adventure/exploration apps and this one's a pretty good one. The collecting aspect is really satisfying, and I like how you can team up with friends to compete in challenges. The graphics are polished and it runs smoothly even on my older phone. But I do have to knock it a bit for the grindy upgrade system and the intrusive ads. Overall though, it's a fun way to get some exercise and fill up your Pikmin collection.

Been playing Pikmin Bloom for a couple months now. It’s basically an app where you collect these little plant creatures called Pikmin as you walk around. Pretty fun if you’re into exploration and collection type games.

Here’s what you do: you go for walks and find Pikmin seedlings that you can then grow into different types of Pikmin. There’s also weekly challenges where you team up with friends to hit a group step goal. And you can decorate the map with flowers as you explore – it’s a nice little touch.

Look, if you’re into collecting cute virtual critters and getting rewarded for walking around, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it’s a solid casual adventure game that gets the job done.
