Reviews for Reigns

I am very happy with my purchase, this game has enough content to keep me happy when I have a minute to spare. I like that there are consequences for being to good to one group and it will still lead to your death. For example if you give to much power to the church they will usually sacrifice you or something. So it's a constant struggle to keep everything in balance untile you die of old age if you can get threw the old age effect. In conclusion I think this is one you should definitely try!

Very good card game, sort of a swipe and the story tells out. There is a bug where the text does seem to go outside of my phone screen (samsung A14 5G) and though I know what the words are, I suggest maybe a text border customiser or a setting to help with the issue. Any how, the game is enjoyable in my opinion, though, I haven't played enough to say. But I'm liking the simplicity of the game mechanics.

Great game for the most part, some say it's repetitive, but that's part of the nature of this game. I Wish it had some sort of mouse or keyboard support so I could swipe left or right without touching the screen directly. (Maybe using the arrow keys...one tap to see the hint, another in the same direction to fully swipe)

It's a very charming game about ruling a kingdom and balancing your actions to rule as long as possible. It is quite fun and can have fun scenarios. My biggest problems are the luck aspect to trying to last a long time, and after a while, you've seen most of the choices by then. Overall, I would recommend playing.

I actually finished the game (nice ending ;) btw) took almost a full week to do it. Can be confusing at times but still a pretty neat game. I wish there was a way to continue your game instead of it just ending. I think it's funny how far in time you go. Well I messed up on the question about resetting the game. If there was an option to answer that question again. Good game overall !!!👍👍👍

A very cool and unique game! The choices you make as a king will decide the fate of your kingdom! Lots of interesting scenerios and characters to find. One thing that I think would improve the game is, in someway, we can see how many territories or total land you control. That way you have a sense of your kindom's size and can watch it grow...or shrink. 5 stars!

It's an excellent game if you only have a couple minute to play, with a very simple system of swiping left and right, yet with a surprising amount of depth and intricacies. There are events that only happen in certain circumstances and the dialogues are pretty fun and engaging. The only bad thing is that you lose too soon though, it only takes a couple bad decisions to get killed.

Exciting until you learn the game and notice it's actually not very good. The dialogue choices are too vague. You might think you are starting to understand how it's played, and how your choice will play out, but that's weong. Frequently the decisions have an opposite effect of what you want. I played a few games making random swipes, or all left/right swipes, and got a higher score and a way lengthier game than I usually do while trying very hard to make careful choices.

It's a fine, unique game that really utilizes the swiping mechanics on phones (or as I like to call it, the Tinder mechanic). You can really lose yourself in this game for a day or so. It's addictive and fun. However, a lot of the puzzles really run by videogame logic, basically, stuff that you could only really have figured out if you yourself are the game programmer or ate willing to put the commitment into this that conspiracy theorists are into conspiracies. I'd still recommend playing

An interesting and affective redesign of "choose your own adventure" story telling as game that is easy to pick and play any time. The short form narrative helps keep sessions and choices short and to the point. I had wanted to try this game for a while, so it was one of my first downloads with the Google Play Pass. I can say that it is worth the premium price point and a no brainer if you have the Play Pass.

Genuine review: The design, art style and the main story line is perfect. It's very difficult to navigate around but it is there. Simplicity is not the best but it's 50/50 on that spectrum. The issue comes down to content. The content so far is good, but once you done the main story line, it sort of stops. You need to have a massive expansion to provide more things. So players don't see the same issues, events or people over and over. Would I recommend this? For a SHORT while yes

This game is extremely fun, interesting and rewarding when you experience new things or make progress but does definitely get repetitive when its just common diaologue. Overall it feels like it has a lot of passion and love put into it and even if I do think that a pretty big part of the game is kind of boring and there could be something done to perhaps skip common diaologue, its still without a doubt one of the best mobile games out there. It just feels good to play even in the boring parts.

Repetitive. Is really fun definitely but there needs to be more progression, more story to follow, I've read a few different comments and I can totally agree that the main issue is it just gets repetitive and yeah grinding on games can be fun but only if you're achieving something from it, where as it feels (other than the passing of time and so the addition of characters/cards up until a point) like there's no progression. Every king the same, with the same options on the same cards eventually.

I love this game and there's a ton of weird and wacky ways to mess up and I love it in this game you have to keep all of your tasks below 100 and a above zero and don't even get me started about the dueling mechanic saves your progress whenever you get an actually important thing happening like getting a new character and I love how there's only two options so you don't really have any decisiveness overall it just a really good game and it has a lot of Lord give it a try .

pretty fun though the controls were a bit confusing/ clunky to me at first and it can be difficult to figure out how to unlock certain storylines. it does get repetitive after a while, but still a pretty decent time killer. i prefer the Her Majesty version even though I'm an adult man lol

A good concept to launch I suppose, but this is a game for a niche audience. The cards are odd and repetitive, the story is random and it's hard to feel empowered to win or lose the way it is set up. Might as well roll dice for 5-40 years on the throne. The feeling is being powerless in an Alice's Wonderland sort of World. You can only decide yes or no, and nearly all decisions have consequences. If you plan it right, you can choose if the army overthrows you first or you run out of money.

I never wrote reviews, but this game has it all! Strategy, comedy, dark themes, mysteries, and more! Honestly the best card swipe adventure I've ever played! Only con is it is quite confusing to get the "best" ending, but I probably didn't look deep enough. Still super fun to complete even after reading a how-to guide! If you have a spare $3, this is the best thing you could spend it on!

Very unique game. It got repetitive and some outcomes make no sense but underneath you see that its really just a numbers game. There isn't much to build on as you constantly die and assume control of the next king. The choices you are able to make are binary and don't make enough impact for any meaningful preparation for the future of your "reign." The dungeon and fighting modes are simplistic and uninteresting. I will continue to play the game though it is failing to keep my interest.

This game is fun and addicting, and I would rate it 5 if I didnt have 1 constant frustration with this game. When you are deciding a choice, it vaguely shows you what it will affect, and I really think that it should show whether it would be positive or negative. You CAN get an item that helps with this, but its still overly vague. Sometimes you may have a meter (money, army, etc) that is going up every second, but youre screwed if you let it max out, and its hard not to while deciding on smthng

I really can't recommend this game. The concept is actually pretty good and it really could be a good game... But whoever wrote the dialog makes me think they were the programmer themselves or simply had a humor that makes no sense to me. Often times the story is convoluted and the words chosen feel like they had a thesaurus next to them. This is one game I hope another studio picks up and expands upon the ideas presented here. There is a good game waiting to be developed with the concepts laid out here....
