So here's my take on Roboban: Colors. I've tested a bunch of puzzle games and this one's actually pretty solid. The core gameplay loop of guiding robots to their stations while moving boxes around is simple but gets increasingly challenging. I like that you can switch between different colored robots - adds a nice strategic layer. Graphics are cute and it runs well. Downsides are that it can get repetitive and the upgrade system is a bit of a grind, but overall it's a fun little game that I've been enjoying for a few months. Not the most original but it does the Sokoban-style puzzle thing pretty well.

Description

I’ve been playing Roboban: Colors for a couple months now. It’s basically a puzzle game where you control little robots and have to guide them to their charging stations. But you can’t just walk them there – you’ve also gotta move boxes into the right spots along the way. Sounds simple but it gets pretty tricky the further you go.

There’s 90 handmade levels across 4 different worlds, each with their own new obstacles. And you can switch between controlling different colored robots at any time, which is a cool mechanic. And there’s an undo function if you mess up, which is super helpful. The graphics are cute and it runs smoothly even on my old phone.

Look, if you’re into puzzle games, you’ll probably get a kick out of this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever and it can get a little repetitive after a while – but overall it’s a pretty solid time-waster. Worth checking out, especially since it’s free to play.
