I'm currently on level 669, and I thought I'm going to look at the reviews on this game to see if others are getting as frustrated as me.. well I wasn't wrong. as soon as you get superhighway ball. it just screws you and if your not willing to pay money on a free game you can't win or not very easily at that. probably stop playing it again, it was a pass time now I just get mad with it
Reviews for Royal Match
← Back to Royal MatchFun game, great way to connect with friends and make friends with teams. After playing for quite some time now I've found that sometimes the games algorithm sucks. I've yet to complete a "card collection" for a reward. It can get stuck on levels preventing you from collecting cards or just giving you duplicates of onesyou already have. You can win ten levels to get a Super power ball but then lose it on the round. Overall this game is fun, but can be VERY frustrating sometimes.
it's another game that's fun and easy for the first couple hundred levels, then the algorithm changes. they have a loss requirement, unless you brute force it with power ups. instead of the levels getting more difficult, they mess with the block drop algorithm, so you don't get good block drops, forcing you to waste moves.
This game has one of the highest and worse algorithms to make you lose, no matter how good you are. After level 2000 the game no longer works based on skill, it changes to beating levels design to make you fail, use your coins or powerups. I've played this game from level 1 to 10,000 only to see over and over again, the same story from other players and myself. Go back to candy crush where at least you knew you had to spend.
They used to have a multi-player competition to win up to 10,000 coins, but in the last 2 weeks, they've changed it to an individual competition for 200 coins, whoppie! They have also reduced the coins you win per level and made it more difficult to pass levels. So basically, a "free" game now wants you to spend money to pass levels. Can you still pass them? Yes. But, if you want to win/ complete competitions, money up! It used to be a great game too!
The game is fun when lightning ball is active. But, it'll cost real money to keep it active. When it's not active, be prepared to do each round 10-30 times. They'll put hard and super hard designations on rounds, but in reality, the regular rounds are just as hard, and you play them as many times as a hard round to complete them. This is meant to frustrate you to pay to play. The developers are greedy and add new frustrations to get you to pay. After years of playing, I'm done with the greed.
This game is fun at the start, but after reaching higher levels, they become increasingly difficult to pass. It will take many days to pass a single level, so you are unable to compete in any of the completions with others and are not able to complete challenges to get the needed rewards to help pass levels. If you fail at level, items are taken away, thus making it even more difficult to pass. You are also limited on attempts to pass, so game play becomes very frustrating. Not recomended.
Levels have random spawns for your playable blocks. You can earn a super light ball, but it won't help you without butlers gift and the right randomly generated blocks to start. This leads to a super lame experience of grinding for hours just to finish a few levels until you get the right setup. Game needs a recovery boost to help someone who is in that loop. Fun when you have items. 2 Stars for having to play a level for 2 hours just to pass it when you run out of items because of this.
The game came pre-installed on our phones. I was going to delete it, but instead found that the game is addicting; and, so far it's true, no ads while in game play nor between levels. Plus the game offers different challenges as you progress in levels as well as it mixes the challenges together so you're sometimes are focused on meeting one of them and forget about the other. So it keeps you on your toes.
I really like this game. However. If anything on your phone happens while you are playing the game, you lose. So if you get a phone call or text message during a level, you lose the level. I've never experienced that with any other game. I reached out to the makers of the game who said "We would like to let you know that when the game is closed, the level will count as failed. This is an expected behavior rather than an issue." Every other game I've ever played saves your progress.
If I were to rate this game on enjoyability, 5 would not be enough stars to rate it! As it turns out, I can not give it 5 stars because this game is nothing but pure robbery! I get that you want to have in app purchases to make some money, but you have made your levels impossible to win without power ups, and it costs a fortune to keep up! Consider giving free power ups and coins more often! I signed up for this game on testers, because I NEED money, and ended up spending more than I could win,
Game is very fun, especially in the early goings. As you progress, it gets more and more difficult. I have started losing interest though because once you get to the higher levels (I'm over 1k) it's definitely designed to be pay to win. Every level I play now requires extra pieces, moves, etc. and as much as I like the game, I'm not spending money on it.
great game w/o ads, but ridiculously difficult. you'll play each one a dozen times before moving on. they need to add at least 10 moves to each game. you have to use 900 coins for just 5 moves when u need 10 or more and only get 16 to 24 in return, so it's impossible to build your bank without spending money. Just has major flaws IMO. very frustrating unless you like spending money.
Another take on the massively popular Bejeweled (match 3*) genre. The game has cute animations and runs very well. The biggest draw is that in my 20m or initial play after install, I didn't encounter any Ad. Not. A. Single. One. This is unheard of in this day and age for Free mobile games. While the game doesn't have the same gameplay as the ads, it is similar though. The microtransactions are there though. But all sins are forgiven because of no Ads, gameplay or otherwise.
Fun game. It is a Match-3 game with little challenges every now and then where you do actually have to save the King from some situation he is in. You don't really need to be connected to Wifi unless you want to log in to your social media account to save your progress. And there are no pesky ads to watch during game play. There are in-app purchases, but whether or not you choose to spend that money is all on you. I do recommend this game... It is a great time waster casual game.
Was a fun game until you reach a certain level and it purposely makes the level unnecessarily hard even if it isn't labeled as a hard level. Unless you have the super light ball it's hard to pass levels. It's also to the point where each level you lose at and have to reattempt the level over and over again. Edit: Keep getting tired of losing my boosters each level I play. And its purposely not letting me get a match for that one final task you have to make and you have to redo the whole level.
The type of games you see in the ads is about every 10 levels it seems. The other games you play are match 3 but it requires you to get a certain number of items within a certain number of moves. I downloaded for the games in the ads, not whatever the rest is. I hate these that only give me a certain number of moves. As usual, the game is not what they portray in ads. Sad. Uninstalled.
Not worth playing. Not as advertised. Only save the king when he's having a nightmare about every 50 levels. Once you spend your first dollar the game changes to where you can't pass anymore levels even the "easy" ones without spending money. Cust support knows this but just gives a generic default script about improving game play on future(lie). Don't fix their glitches and are only after your money. Play match frenzy instead. At least that really doesn't cost you anything and worth your time.
Fun! No wifi needed. The main match 3 game is fun, and having a few side game options keeps things interesting. Many match 3 games are too challenging, and you end up frustrated because you have to spend all your resources just simply trying to get through the levels. This game isn't like that. (So far. I'm level 386). My only criticism is that I wish the room decorating part was more interactive. Like giving choices of different decor to use.
Stops being fun when you have to pay to play. After about 130 levels, you need to use special items to beat the levels, and if you run out, you need to buy them with real money. Or you can try the level 75 times until the computer actually gives you what you need (each try is random, so there's no way to learn and fix your mistakes) but you only get 5 lives and then you have to wait 30m per try. The only reason I made it so long with this game is because it doesn't have freaking ads. All done.
