Description
Been playing Rusty Lake: Roots for a couple months now. It’s basically a point-and-click adventure game where you build up your family tree. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of stuff.
Here’s what you do: you plant a special seed in your garden and then start unlocking portraits of your ancestors. And there’s also a bunch of puzzles to solve – some of them can be pretty tricky. And the soundtrack is really immersive, with a different theme song for each level.
Look, if you’re into creepy, atmospheric puzzle games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – gets a little repetitive after a while – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Rusty Lake: Roots. I've tested a bunch of point-and-click adventure games and this one's pretty solid. The story is super engaging and I like how you build your own family tree. The puzzles can be challenging but not so hard that you want to rage-quit. Graphics look great too. Only downside is it can get a little repetitive, but if you're into this genre, I'd say it's worth the download.
