So here's my honest take on Smoothie, Alfie Atkins. I've tested a bunch of kids' games and this one's pretty good. The graphics look great and it runs smooth even on older phones. There's a ton of strategic depth in figuring out the right ingredient combos, but it's not overwhelming. The only downsides are that it can get repetitive after a while and the progression does start to slow down at higher levels. But for a free-to-play game, it's a solid choice that doesn't try to nickel and dime you.

Description

Been playing Smoothie, Alfie Atkins for a couple months now. It’s basically a game where you collect and grow ingredients to make all kinds of fun smoothies. There’s a ton of content to discover and it’s perfect for kids from 3 to 8 years old.

The game doesn’t require any math skills or previous knowledge about the Alfie Atkins books. It’s all about the smoothie making and it’s really intuitive to pick up. There’s a bunch of different ingredients you can unlock and combine in different ways to create new smoothies. It’s pretty addicting trying to collect them all!

Look, if you’ve got young kids who like cooking or making stuff, they’ll probably really enjoy this app. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it’s a solid game that does the job. Worth checking out if you’re in the market for a new kids’ app.
