I wanna give this a 5 star but I can't in all honesty the game is really good, it stops me from doom scrolling on other apps and gets my brain working. The problem for me is the ads I'd be willing to pay a few bucks to remove ads, or even an option to watch 3 ads without skipping for a few hours of no ads. if your not like me and can get past the ads then you will definitely enjoy this game
Reviews for Solitaire Associations: Words
← Back to Solitaire Associations: WordsI like the game, however, I strongly dislike having limited movement. The game is challenging enough, some of the words I've never seen or heard of, plus not knowing all the categories in each deck, but that's why I like it.... if there is going to be a movement limit then I think it would be best if it was every 3rd or 5th game played. I absolutely love any solitary game, and probably will continue to play it, until I'm tired of watching ads or move on to something else.
Was fun while it lasted. Got stuck on level 21. I played it at least 10 times. Games get boring if you play the same thing over and over. The final time I played was going to add 10 moves because I only needed a few more and it didn't work. I basically lost the level again for that. All the other times were impossible to win or had more then 10 moves to win. Used to be a 5 star game for me.
The game is amazing. I absolutely love playing, but it does have way too many ads and it freezes or glitches regularly...lastly, it uses so much battery??? For every game played, while plugged in....the power is decreased super fast like 3-11% Per round...which is nuts!!!! I hope they can fix the bugs because I really do enjoy this game, it's challenging, I love the brain power that's required. It's far from boring... highly recommended, but only if you have plenty of time and charge.
I give 2 stars, because the game would be quite enjoyable, if it weren't for the fkn annoying ads. Ads don't keep a game free. For years I played games, which have no forced ads, and they remained free. So, go ahead and be one of those devs that lie to your conscience, so you don't feel guilty about taking money for something that doesn't need to be. I'm deleting. I have 1 game that had ads, but they got rid of the ads and it's still free. Get rid of forced ads & I might come back.
Great concept, prepare to retry levels. I often run out of slots and literally cannot finish and have to restart which gets tedious and now playing the game doesn't sound fun and I don't want to play. please consider an option to add a new open slot with like watching an ad or something so I don't have to retry from the start.
I love this game but the amount of ads makes it more frustrating than any other game I've played , there is no option to pay for no ads. no matter what you do an ad happens, complete a stack, ad, restart a level, ad, new level , ad hey you have to watch an ad before you can even play the game, fantastic idea , would give 5 stars in a heartbeat if you could remove the ads
I'm really loving this game! It's a unique word puzzle game, I can't recall ever seeing one with this exact gameplay. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the ads. It wouldn't be bad if there were only ads between levels, but they come up in the middle of the round too. I would happily pay for an ad-free version! Also, just an idea, but it would be fun to sometimes have a category that combines words and images, instead of always having them separated :)
The gameplay is awesome. However, the more you advance, the more ads are necessary. I would be fine paying to remove ads as the game is good and surprisingly addictive. But the game doesn't offer the option to remove ads. I've played enough now that I have to watch ads so much that I don't want to play anymore. So I'm uninstalling. Give the option to remove ads and I'll give 5 ⭐
Far too many ads and no ad-free option. Gets to the point where you get an ad starting a round, when you finish your first category, and every other category completion Decent game, though it is possible due to luck of the draw to get locked out of winning a game since unlike normal Solitaire there is far less card movement allowed - you can only stack cards that are in the same category, and you can place a category card on a matching stack, but once you do you can't add any other cards to it
Absolutely original and sooo much fun! I play it for at least an hour before bed to unwind. It's challenging without being too difficult. The puzzles are really unique and the categories are fun. The mix of word and pic cards is nice. The ads are spaced out and not overwhelming, which is also very nice. I can't recommend this game enough for card and word game enthusiasts alike.
this game has been harder to play than normal solitaire. you can only undo once in a row, I've had ads when I didn't need them and couldn't get ads when I needed to get more undos or +10 moves. also wished that there had been a dictionary option if you were unfamiliar with the word. all around pretty frustrating and disappointing because I had high hopes of it being fun.
the concept is great, I enjoyed the first few levels and want to play more. however, at around level 5 it became impossible to win. they did introduce a joker (with ad) but didn't explain how it worked. and the other times I ran out of draws right near the end or it didn't matter how many times I cycled through. if they could balance it to let me keep playing and actually win sometimes then I would come back
I like the idea of the game and the strategy that's required to accomplish it, but I never was able to accomplish a level within the move limit, even when trying to go about with the smallest, most strategic moves I could manage. Only having 4 slots on top with near double on the number of topics was also frustrating. When all the cards I recieved were the topic I couldn't put down, but the one I could put down couldn't access all the cards in that topic without moving the stack created.
Fun game, but there's an ad after you complete a category, and it won't let you X out of the ad. Instead, it takes you to Google Play or another ad, so you can't get back to the game without closing the game. I'm stuck at the current level because it's restarted the level more than 10 times every time an ad pops up. Why can't the game be without ads, without needing to pay?! Uninstalling now!
I would pay to remove ads, but if that's an option, I can't even get that far in the game. Forced ad breaks crash the game every time they come up. When I watch the thing and exit the ad properly, the game just sits there on the "ad break" screen and doesn't respond, and if I close and reopen, it starts a whole new ad. Again, I WANT TO PAY YOU to play your game ad free, but the ad setup during the first few levels is absolute garbage and the glitches make this unplayable.
Ads in the middle of a level, starting at level 5. Level 6, no way to finish it as all the cards needed are hidden and you can't move the ones on top to get to them. This started out as a fun game but it quickly deteriorates into a frustrating mess. Not everyone enjoys having to repeat levels multiple times or having to spend oodles of money to get through each level. If its too difficult to do each level, I uninstall and find better games to play. There's plenty out there.
I'm loving the gameplay so far. It's a very unique concept and it's pretty engaging. The only thing taking me out of the experience is the ads. In contrast to other reviews, I get ads every time a stack of words clears. This means that if I'm getting up to the end of the game, they're coming every 5-10 seconds. Still love the idea though, and the actual game is fun. Would love an ad-free version!
Interesting game, enjoyable and satisfying when you can get all the cards to align properly. But there's some levels that are un-winable. It's not that it's hard, it's that it's impossible for there to be room for all the cards to have a place. I'm on a level rn where all the cards I need are stuck beneath other stacks and there's no way to get them out to complete the category and get because there's only so many slots to put the other cards. It's very frustrating! I've restarted this level 3x
It's a really nice challenge, with having to be careful with the limited spaces and how one plays the cards (just like in regular solitaire) and then adding word associations, especially when certain words may fit multiple categories! I think I've only had this for a week or two, but I already beat all the levels 😭 can't wait for more, and the only ads are when you restart or use a joker (seems like based on a other reviews a lot of them just needed to use more of those than they liked)
