I wanna give this a 5 star but I can't in all honesty the game is really good, it stops me from doom scrolling on other apps and gets my brain working. The problem for me is the ads I'd be willing to pay a few bucks to remove ads, or even an option to watch 3 ads without skipping for a few hours of no ads. if your not like me and can get past the ads then you will definitely enjoy this game
Reviews for Solitaire Associations: Words
I like the game, however, I strongly dislike having limited movement. The game is challenging enough, some of the words I've never seen or heard of, plus not knowing all the categories in each deck, but that's why I like it.... if there is going to be a movement limit then I think it would be best if it was every 3rd or 5th game played. I absolutely love any solitary game, and probably will continue to play it, until I'm tired of watching ads or move on to something else.
Was fun while it lasted. Got stuck on level 21. I played it at least 10 times. Games get boring if you play the same thing over and over. The final time I played was going to add 10 moves because I only needed a few more and it didn't work. I basically lost the level again for that. All the other times were impossible to win or had more then 10 moves to win. Used to be a 5 star game for me.
The game is amazing. I absolutely love playing, but it does have way too many ads and it freezes or glitches regularly...lastly, it uses so much battery??? For every game played, while plugged in....the power is decreased super fast like 3-11% Per round...which is nuts!!!! I hope they can fix the bugs because I really do enjoy this game, it's challenging, I love the brain power that's required. It's far from boring... highly recommended, but only if you have plenty of time and charge.
I give 2 stars, because the game would be quite enjoyable, if it weren't for the fkn annoying ads. Ads don't keep a game free. For years I played games, which have no forced ads, and they remained free. So, go ahead and be one of those devs that lie to your conscience, so you don't feel guilty about taking money for something that doesn't need to be. I'm deleting. I have 1 game that had ads, but they got rid of the ads and it's still free. Get rid of forced ads & I might come back.
Great concept, prepare to retry levels. I often run out of slots and literally cannot finish and have to restart which gets tedious and now playing the game doesn't sound fun and I don't want to play. please consider an option to add a new open slot with like watching an ad or something so I don't have to retry from the start.
I love this game but the amount of ads makes it more frustrating than any other game I've played , there is no option to pay for no ads. no matter what you do an ad happens, complete a stack, ad, restart a level, ad, new level , ad hey you have to watch an ad before you can even play the game, fantastic idea , would give 5 stars in a heartbeat if you could remove the ads
I'm really loving this game! It's a unique word puzzle game, I can't recall ever seeing one with this exact gameplay. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the ads. It wouldn't be bad if there were only ads between levels, but they come up in the middle of the round too. I would happily pay for an ad-free version! Also, just an idea, but it would be fun to sometimes have a category that combines words and images, instead of always having them separated :)
The gameplay is awesome. However, the more you advance, the more ads are necessary. I would be fine paying to remove ads as the game is good and surprisingly addictive. But the game doesn't offer the option to remove ads. I've played enough now that I have to watch ads so much that I don't want to play anymore. So I'm uninstalling. Give the option to remove ads and I'll give 5 ⭐
Far too many ads and no ad-free option. Gets to the point where you get an ad starting a round, when you finish your first category, and every other category completion Decent game, though it is possible due to luck of the draw to get locked out of winning a game since unlike normal Solitaire there is far less card movement allowed - you can only stack cards that are in the same category, and you can place a category card on a matching stack, but once you do you can't add any other cards to it
