Reviews for Sonic Runners Adventure game

← Back to Sonic Runners Adventure game

This re-enactment of the original Sonic Runners is quite well done if I'd say so myself. I do have one issue, and that's about the springs. There's a slight pause every time you hit the spring and that doesn't settle well with a long time player of Sonic games like me. The only other thing I wished was implemented in this game is to have the original Sonic Runners art style instead of having full 3D models.

Three Stars out of a possible Five Stars. Sonic Runners Adventure is a better version of the mess that was Sonic Runners. Yes, this game is a better version of a mess. The only relevant thing you control while playing the levels of the game is the "Jump" button and all of the super high bouncing and weird camera angles in the world will not mask this fact. If you already own the original Sonic side scrollers, this game may be worth a purchase on sale. If not, buy Sonic 1 and/or Sonic 2, instead.

it's a really fun game and goes so fast I love sonic he's so fast and cool

This is an excellent, very challenging but also very fun, sonic game, with lots of levels and characters to unlock. My only criticism (and the reason I took a star off) is it says you only need an Internet connection for first game launch, but it does a license verification periodically, so you have to have some sort of internet randomly (which isn't always convenient).

Amazing, but it keeps closing as soon as I enter the app. I think that it might be a me problem, though 🤔

Gets a little blurry when going fast... otherwise decent remake of the original mobile game!

This is how a mobile game should be like. It has no ads and no in-app purchases. There are no seasons that pressure you to play at someone else's pace. This is a relaxing game. It is a fast and challenging game as well. It is also cute. The levels start off simple and linear, but as you progress the levels become more challenging and there are multiple ways to move through them in this auto-runner. You can play as Sonic in ever level if you want, unlike Sega's newer games that start with Sonic.

(2018) This game is fun, but the inclusion of an actual endless mode would add more playtime. The amount of characters and buddies is surprisingly small compared to the original runners, I just hope more get added. I would rate it higher if there was more things than just the adventure mode in the game. This game has similar problems to Super Mario Run, but this one is more fun. Just add more characters and buddies, especially the endless mode, something that made runners so replayable for me.

I love Sonic Runners it's really fast and extremely fun this is got to be one of Gameloft SE best game of all time.

I've been playing this game for years . Buts since the last (forced) update it keeps crashing . Also new updates for android 15 , now have to be full screen (notch area) , Which this isn't.

You should add progress sync up option to play the game on multiple devices on same ID. Just wasted the my time and money. Because there is no way to backup or to sync up the progress. I lost all my achievement while changing my mobile.

I used to really enjoy the first version of this game, and even the second rendition when it became adventure. However they've really messed up the quality of the game and now it's so streamlined and easy it's boring. If you can find the original Sonic Runners files, play that one. It's far better and actually engages the player so they can get faster and better at it.

This game would get a 5 out of 5, but the only a little bit of problems: 1)no frequent updates 2)no added story, character's, or extra side character's like as much the og sonic runners had 3)the graphics need a tad bit more polishing, Overall the game is a must have and it's definitely worth it's price for $2.99. (and at times, the game even goes on sale for $0.99👍)

I like this game, but I have one problem with it: It's not infinite. There is no such mode where you can truly run forever. I know there are "infinite" levels, but they're not truly infinite. Once you complete your objectives, it's over. What this game needs is an arcade mode where you just run forever and truly have fun with the game. No objectives to complete. Just pure fun. This is an ok game, but I think the original Sonic Runners was better than this one. It had a lot more to it and you actually could run forever.

This game, while fun, still isn't what I really expected. The really only downside is that there is no true Infinite or Endless Mode without collecting clocks.. Having an Endless Mode will boost gameplay value by a lot. Maybe throw in a couple of event specific zones, character costumes, more buddies, more characters, and so on.

The game as a whole is enjoyable, and I always find myself picking it up when I have time to kill. The controls are simple yet responsive, and overall I don't really see any issues aside from maybe stability every now and again. However, I do sometimes wonder if and when we'll get new content, perhaps in the form of a few characters, sort of like the original Runners game, but obviously without the cash-grab roulette system. Any word on any potential future updates, perhaps?

A lacking and mediocre successor to the original Sonic Runners. The most notable problem with this game is its utter lack of content. 9 characters and about 5 worlds that can be 100%ed in just a few days. If this was a free game, it'd at least be tolerable, but to pay money for a worse version of Runners was a tremendous disappointment. What this game needs is updates, adding new characters, new stages, and kind of incentive to play continuously, because as it stands, it's a quick cash-grab.

I tried this game out because the soundtrack is absolutely amazing - it's fun enough for $3. As of writing, the worst part of the game is when you're required to use Power characters, their jump height is awful and it really just feels unfair when you die because your character literally can't jump high enough. You should not have to throw yourself into a pit & revive just for a character to be able to reach the upper parts of a level.

Good game, but it doesn't do the first game justice. The first game had a better art style with thick outlines so when things get hectic you can still see what you're doing without it being a sensory overload like this game. The game also doesn't have as many characters in this game as they did in the first one. The game currently only has Team Sonic, Team Dark, and Team Chaotix, not even Team Rose appears in this game. The gameplay is still fun in short bursts though.

Fun game but I kinda wish I hadn't paid for something I could finish in like 2 days. It may just be me? It isn't that bad because it's an overall good game. But, then what after you finish the story, you get to replay the same levels likeeee? There should be more to the game aside from just the small, short storyline. Maybe online races or something, more to collect even. Maybe it's just me being stingy since I spent my money and realized I already almost finished the game a few hours later.
