The camera is too fast to follow the direction of the moving character, try the character moves zigzag just a little bit the camera moves very fast. The camera should move slowly if the character moves a little. My head is dizzy because of the camera movements, I hope there is a fix for the problem. EDIT: The sensitivity settings only affect the motion of the camera manually, I'm talking about the camera's automatic movements, and yes I want the camera to move automatically, not manually.
Reviews for SpongeBob SquarePants BfBB
Would love to give this a proper 5 stars but I cannot. Playing off a LG V40 and its runs amazingly on the highest settings. Ran into a problem using a wireless Xbox controller. The RB button doesnt work properly and only opens the map and the right thumbstick doesn't move the camera. Not sure if a common issue or just my controller. Edit: Works perfectly with a PS4 Dualshock but still not with an Xbox controller.
Unplayable with a PS5 controller, which is really disappointing. No idea if other controllers work, but lmb doesn't work, thus making it unplayable with a PS5 controller. This game is amazing, great mobile port, great graphics, solid framerate (although 90 or 120 would be better). Would be 5 stars if you make it playable with a PS5 controller.
I bought this game when it was on sale for 99 cents on the Play Store over Nintendo Switch for $29.99. Didn't regret it😎. plays basically the same as Switch but only around 2 GB instead of 10 GB for switch. i played up to the jellyfish field level and had no problem. Note I was using an 8bitdo pro 2 controller to play. I recommend using that controller or an xbox controller to play because touch controls not good. Hidden Gem, great way to experience without owning a console or PC. 👍
Graphics are breathtaking, gameplay is the same as the O.G, touchscreen isn't bad (Bluetooth controller is crisp and the way to go) and it got me one step closer to 100% this game on every console it's been released on!! A steal of a childhood classic and an overdose of nostalgia for me.
Gameplay is great for a mobile port of this cult classic, but I only have 2 issues about it so far: 1. Knowing that the console hotfixes has the Krabs Spatulas fixed to the original game's values, it's hard to go back to how Rehydrated was originally released and get the extra Shinies, so a fix on this would be great! 2. It would be great if there was an extra action button for the "Sneak" mechanic, like in the console versions, as the Virtual Joystick input makes it very difficult.
I CANT SAVE MY PROGRESS!!! It keeps saying 'Error, game cannot be saved' EVERY TIME I TRY AND SAVE. Obviously this is seriously annoying and needs to be fixed ASAP. I loved this game years ago and replaying it is great. I'm using the latest Samsung device and yet the game is so laggy and the frame rate keeps dropping on 60fps max settings. Considering I paid £8.99 for this, I would like the game to run as best as it could
It's a great remake of a PS2 game, with everything from improved graphics and a great story to challenging boss fights. But there's one thing missing is optimization, sometimes experience frame drops while playing this game. I can't complain much considering the game's low price for a console port.
The game itself is a load of fun, played this version on multiple consoles/devices now and the mobile version is the best when it comes to loading screen times, very fast. My big problem was the frame rate, I would have it running in 60fps and the game runs terrible, pretty much 15fps. Im using a Galaxy S20 so I was thinking it would run as smooth as butter but I was wrong. It also heats up my phone a lot when playing so I wouldn't want to play it for more than an hour.
I love this game, it looks stunning, jellyfish fields blew me away with the grass, I expected it to be dumbed down a bit, but it doesn't see to be. I use a controller so I can't say much for the touch controls. Loving the game so far. My only issue I've had was with a glitch on the rooftops of downtown. If you are using Sandy's lasso and grab onto the edge of one of the conveyer belts, the lasso will continue spinning and you will fly upwards forever and it forced me to restart the section.
