Do not download. Either EA got hacked, or their techs haven't climbed out of their grandma's basement to fix the game. For a company that charges a lot of money to actually excel in this game, they don't show they care enough to get things back working quickly enough. This glitch, bug, issue, whatever they will call it, has been going on since June 2! Don't waste your time.
One would think that things would get better as development progresses... I've had a lot of fun playing this game over the last couple of years, but the game's operability seems to get worse with each update. The periodic "marquee events" have started causing the game to be inaccessible for days at a time, troublesome when daily repeatable challenges *for* the event can't be played.
Game is good, tons of characters, lots of levels, arena battles. HOWEVER the energy cost is WAY too high. All of these types of games require players to recharge energy with paid currency to play for more than an hour or two (or a couple minutes if you are using Stims) everytime you recharge, the price goes up. It becomes a waste after 2 or 3 recharges. This needs to be removed. 1 set price for a recharge no matter how many times I do it. The greed shows hard with this game. Avoid paying money!!
Overall, good gameplay. Although if you want to really enjoy the game and not have to grind so much, you do have to pay quite a bit. anytime a new character is made, if you want to actually level that character up, you have to buy the packs with in game currency or real money to actually level them up. I've been playing for more than 2 years, and I haven't even maxed out a single character yet. so overall it's a good game, but mostly pay to win if you want to have a good time.
I've enjoyed this game as one of the few that isn't pay to play, the in app purchases are ridiculous, and help advance faster, but aren't necessary to keep playing like other games get. however, I was recently kicked out and cannot load the game, ot keeps saying I've logged in elsewhere. that has caused the low rating as I will not start over I've been playing for years, and have put too much time into it for this to happen.
It was an awesome game until I suddenly couldn't log in anymore. I log into my Google account, it says session expired, then starts an endless loop where I'll reload for it to say session expired again and again. I've tried all troubleshooting methods I can find online. Leaving a 1 star because I got to level 83 on F2P before getting locked out. I put alot of time into that and it sucks that I have zero access to my account now. It's there, it just won't let me play the game.
No theory crafting, each character is tied to a very specific team and if your missing the other team members that character is totally useless. If you're new to the game the only way to catch up is to spend thousands of dollars to catch up. Game frequently crashes and locks you out of it for weeks at a time losing progress you can't get back. Missing several QOL that should be standard in 2025, specially in the modding department.
Love this, terribly addictive. Problem is, I've made good progress until ships became available. The game forces me to go to the ships, at which point, the game instantly locks up. Every. Single. Time. I can't get past it. I hate this, had hoped to keep this game. I will wait and see if updates fix it. I sure hope so. edit. Though updated, it still locks up every time. So sad. I want to play but no go. Update: I'm done. Even with a brand new Galaxy this locks up in exact same spot!
Just logged in after an update, and it had automatically connected to Google Play. Normally not a problem, but the first time I played this game, I logged into Google Play, but then the game broke, and I could only fix it by playing as a guest. I played as a guest for like 2 and a half to 3 years. I have now lost everything from that time period. I contacted Support, and I am now writing this review in hopes of getting the issue fixed quicker. Please and thank you!
I have been playing this game for years, and I really enjoy it. the last update they did removed items and upgrades I paid for, locked characters I worked to unlock, and removed a ton of other items. When I reached out for help they only referred me to another link and it has been over a month. Nothing has changed except the number of people that say they are happy to help me. If you decide to play don't pay for anything.
