Great game, as always, but huge game breaking bug, not the good kind. Everytime I try to back out of any of the menus, on controller, it keeps crashing the game, forcing me to restart the day. Really wish this wasn't a thing, I keep forgetting about it, and I keep having to restart days. It's happened several times during the same day. Super frustrating.
Reviews for Stardew Valley
← Back to Stardew ValleyIt's such a great game You can pick it up and play for an in-game day (about 15 minutes), save and come back, or get sucked in and end up playing for hours. Excellent, and the developer still supports and adds content. I wish we could make a duplicate save as I accidentally deleted one. Fortunately, I was early on, and starting over, my new save is far better. That was my fault, though. The game itself, I have zero complaints.
Great game, good port. I'm using a Backbone controller and the gameplay feels like playing a Switch, where I'm using both touchscreen and the controller. I wish there were more options to change the controller and touch settings, but overall the port is good. The game is Great. If you haven't played it, I highly recommend giving it a try. If you're not big on farming, it doesn't have to be a primary role. I recommend fishing and mining first if that's the case.
Absolutely fantastic game! Unfortunately due to the limitations of the phone, it is an absolute nightmare to control (especially just navigating the map and fishing), to the point it's almost impossible for me to play with the touch screen and tiny screen. Really is best suited for PC or controller. I kind of figured it would be, but wanted the portability and wanted to support the developer. My advice is to just stick to PC/console version because the game is well worth playing.
great gameplay, I'm only halfway through the first year but I'm honestly addicted. would have gotten 5 stars if it weren't for the bugs. The main problem is when trying to interact with certain shops, I have to close n reopen the game (after saving). A bigger problem is occasionally the world will go black (except the inventory bar) and I have to close out and start my day over, but that has only happened twice to me. However, the extremely fun gameplay makes it 4/5 stars even with these bugs.
The an amazing game! The only real problem I have is the controls. It's difficult to navigate & it wastes in game time trying to move to a new area but you can't cause it either won't let you select the block closest to the edge or it won't let you guide them. If you could have an on screen little joy pad as an option, this would be on par with the switch. (Which I also love to play on) I'm so happy I have a game that is fun to play on all levels. The most well thought out game that I love 💕
Warning: No Backup Saves. You'll lose your progress if you change devices. The actual gameplay is great. I have been playing for a few years with 250 hours on my farm. Now that I have to change devices, all that progress will be lost. The game data does not save to your Google account, and there is no way to access the saved files on your device without connecting it to a PC. Why would one of the most popular games (and one of my favorites) not have the basic feature of cloud sync?
I've bought this game 4 times on all different platforms. With almost 300 hours, I can confidently say this is a game you will never regret purchasing. It's got something for everyone. The game is made by one dude, but it has far more depth and story than any AAA title. Just when you think that's it, you've unlocked something new or found a new personal goal. This is a do it when ya wanna do it type game with no stress and all the fun you could ask for. The price is almost stealing!
Listen, I love the game. Peaceful, amazing, calming, relaxing, the list goes on. But recently there's been some bugs. First off, when I enter the game and try to load in, it goes off fine at first, but then when I try to enter town square, it kicks me out of the game completely. It's extremely annoying because even when I reinstalled the game, (AND LOST ALLL MY PROGRESS..) it still had the same problem. I hope this gets fixed soon. Update: it's working perfectly now, thanks! :))
This has become my favorite mobile game of all time. However, I am currently discouraged from playing. I upgraded my house size only to realize I cannot move my cursed mannequin at all. This wouldn't be the worst thing, except it is standing on a rug that I now can't move and my house I just spent 65,000 on looks awful. :( I can't find any info to help me online, either. Please fix this bug in this otherwise fabulous game, and I'll change my review to 5 stars in a second.
I really like this game; I've played it on x-box and PC and I enjoy playing it in my freetime. However, this game has way too much glitches in comparison to other platforms. I have to go back and forth when configuring my controls and have experienced glitches where textboxes randomly fill the screen, so I can't do anything to exit. Overall the game is fun and enjoyable, I just feel like the mobile controls and functionality should be improved.
I love stardew, honestly. but I usually play on my Xbox. so when i first found out they had co-op on mobile, I was ecstatic, so I went on and even had some friends join! but the longer we played, the more we realized how buged it was. when ever my friends tried to mine or chop trees, they'd get stuck and be unable to move and eventually had to get off and back on. Stardew plz fix this bug, I want to go to the mine with my friends but am unable to do so. it is very annoying.
Update: 1.6 is extremely buggy. (Still the best game ever) Please fix! Can't get items out of lost & found! Inventory items getting displaced and lost forever (or stuck in lost box) Why it's the best: 1. There are no ads 2. no microtransactions! 3. It's offline play; you can play it on an airplane. Update: I couldn't sync my progress with Google play games! I lost my games. It's so frustrating to lose all your progress!!!
Absolutely fantastic game, but I've got a warning for PC players coming to mobile that you can't use emotes here anymore, unless you have a bluetooth controller or bluetooth keyboard. Tapping on date and time to access emotes doesn't work anymore either. Also if you're having trouble with the controls you can change them in the menu. You can press and hold to move if you have a setting on that has tap to move. Devs, can you make emotes easier to access? Really enjoyed using them on PC.
probably one of the most satisfying gaming experiences someone can have. Don't be fooled by the graphics this is a very smooth experience. The music is incredible. if you are a fan of retro gaming this game Will redefine what a classic truly is. when you begin you're never really sure what you can do and as you play you only realize how much more there is. you can play this for decades and not know everything. Love it.
This is such a fun game. I think I am at around 120 hours playing it. There is so much to do and the gameplay builds as you go, so it does not get boring. I currently only own the mobile version, but I eventually want to buy the Xbox version as well. As such, I have had no problem learning the controls, etc. I do sometimes check the Stardew Wikipedia if there is something I need help with, as it is not especially intuitive if you have not played before. A+ game!
Very fun game but there seems to be a bug with moving houses, at least on the beach farm. When moving the house, the mail icon does not move with it and shows up where the house starts off. Also, you can not place the house back at the exact same spot after moving if you change your mind. Otherwise, it's a perfect game.
Hands down, one of my favorite games. I only have minor complaints regarding the game but they're not too important. Controlling the slingshot is difficult on a phone and the game can get repetitive and a bit boring after playing it for so long, but I don't think negatively about it because of it. It's only 5 dollars. It has more content than some games that cost more than that. The amount of things to do surprised me when I first played it so it's not a short game to play casually by any means.
Updated: I love this game. I play it on many platforms. ❤️ I mostly play on my PC, but I really like playing it on my phone or switch. I love the 1.6 update we just got on mobile, but it has some minor bugs & issues. We got the new update finally on mobile, but it's missing parts of what made 1.6+ great on PC. Ie: Extended naming bar. The expanded item id codes list is not working for any new id items: ex. Books. Anything that doesn't fit with [x]in the current size naming bar as it's too long.
I don't normally give five stars, but this is honestly my favorite way to play this now. You can save any time, switch to previous saves, and it has an auto fight feature. I hate fighting on Stardew on other platforms. The mobile also allows you to, for the most part, not have to select a tool before using it. Best of all, I take my phone everywhere.
