So here's my honest take on Subnautica. I've tested a bunch of survival/exploration games and this one's up there with the best of them. The graphics are really impressive and the underwater world is super immersive. I like the focus on crafting and progression - it keeps you engaged without being overwhelming. The only downsides are that it can get a little grindy at times and the performance isn't perfect, but those are pretty minor issues. Overall, this is a must-play for any fans of the genre.

Description

Been playing Subnautica for a couple months now. It’s basically an underwater adventure game where you crash land on this alien ocean planet and have to survive. Pretty solid if you’re into survival/exploration games.

Here’s what you do: you gotta craft gear and equipment to help you explore the massive open world. And there’s tons of different biomes like coral reefs, volcanoes, and cave systems to check out. And you can pilot these cool little submarine vehicles to get around. It’s got a really nice progression system where you’re constantly unlocking new tech and blueprints.

Look, if you’re into survival games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – there are some bugs and the upgrades can take forever at higher levels – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an engrossing underwater adventure.

Absolutely phenomenal mobile port. It's the entire game. Nothing taken out, nothing added in, nothing behind a paywall. And it runs beautifully. I use a midrange $400 Chinese phone meant...

I am definitely quite impressed with the optimizations on this game, and have no doubt it'll continue to be improved. There are some minor bugs, like in other reviews, but...

Fantastic gameplay experience. Subnautica's a big game so I was worried about performance, but it runs smooth as butter on high graphics even on a device that's a little older....
