Been playing Tetrocube for a couple months now. It’s basically a meditative, low-pressure tetromino game where you build up a 10x10x10 cube one slice at a time. You’ve got 30 seconds per slice to place the tetrominoes that fall from the top of the screen. Just point where you want them to go and they’ll auto-rotate to fit. It’s got a pretty chill vibe – no rush, no time pressure, just gotta focus on stacking those blocks.
The gameplay is pretty simple but there’s actually a good amount of strategy involved. You’ll need to think a few moves ahead to fill up gaps and clear out lines. And there’s a neat little queue that shows the next few pieces coming up, so you can plan ahead. Took me a while to really get the hang of it, but once you do, it’s really satisfying when you pull off a perfect stack.
Look, if you’re into casual, relaxing puzzle games, you’ll probably dig Tetrocube. It’s not gonna blow your mind, but it’s a solid time-killer that’s easy to pick up and play for a few minutes. Not perfect – the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it’s a pretty good app that I’d recommend checking out.
