Been playing The Oregon Trail: Boom Town for a couple months now. It’s basically a reimagined version of the classic Oregon Trail game, but with a focus on building up a frontier town and battling other players. Pretty solid app if you’re into strategy and simulation games.

Here’s what you do: you start off with a small settlement and have to manage resources, build structures, and craft items to help your pioneers survive the dangerous journey west. There’s also multiplayer clan battles, which is pretty cool. And you can join up with friends to take down other clans – took me a while to figure that out but it’s super fun.

Look, if you’re into games like Clash of Clans or Civilization, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an addictive strategy game with a unique twist.
