Description
Been playing The Room Stalker for a couple months now. It’s basically a walking simulator game where you’re trapped in a hotel room and gotta find a way to escape this weird time loop. Sounds kinda spooky but it’s actually pretty chill overall.
There’s a bunch of little puzzles and anomalies you gotta figure out as you explore the room. You can point at stuff to inspect it and try to fix any issues you find. It’s got a pretty cool vibe – the graphics are nice and there’s a creepy atmosphere, but it’s not like super scary or anything.
Look, if you’re into these kinds of walking sim/mystery games, you’ll probably dig The Room Stalker. It’s not perfect – the loop can get a bit repetitive after a while – but overall it’s a solid little game that’s worth checking out, especially if you’re bored and need to kill an hour or two.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on The Room Stalker. I've tested a bunch of walking sim/mystery games and this one's pretty solid overall. The production values are good, with nice visuals and an interesting, moody atmosphere. The gameplay loop of exploring, finding anomalies, and trying to escape the time loop is engaging, at least for the first few times through. But I will say it does start to feel a bit repetitive after a while. Still, for a short, casual game, it's a pretty good time.
