So here's my honest take on The Secret of Grisly Manor. I've tested a bunch of strategy games and this one's pretty solid. The graphics look great and it runs smooth even on my older phone. There's a ton of strategic depth without being too overwhelming, and I like that you can play for free without feeling forced to spend money. But it does get a bit repetitive after a while, and the wait times for upgrades at high levels are a real pain. Overall though, I'd say it's a pretty fun time if you're into this kind of game.

Description

Been playing The Secret of Grisly Manor for a couple months now. It’s basically a strategy game where you build up your own little village and then raid other players’ villages. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: there’s all these puzzles and hidden rooms in your grandpa’s old house that you gotta figure out. It’s got a really cool spooky vibe to it. You also get to build up your defenses and train an army of little soldiers to attack other players. And there’s a clan system where you can team up with friends, which is pretty fun.

Look, if you’re into strategy games and don’t mind a bit of a learning curve, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it does the job and is worth checking out.
