So here's my honest take on Through the Darkest of Times. I've tested a bunch of WWII strategy games and this one's pretty unique. I like the focus on building a resistance movement and making tough moral choices, instead of just mindless combat. And the graphics and performance are solid too. But it's not without its issues - the progression can get grindy at higher levels and the ads can be a pain if you don't pay. Overall though, it's a really solid strategy game that fans of the genre should enjoy.

Description

Been playing Through the Darkest of Times for a couple months now. It’s basically a WWII-themed strategy game where you build up a resistance group and try to undermine the Nazi regime. Pretty solid app if you’re into historical strategy games.

Here’s what you do: you recruit members, gather supplies, and plan operations to sabotage the Nazis. And there’s also a clan system where you can team up with friends and coordinate bigger attacks. And the story mode is actually pretty engaging – it’s not just mindless combat, there’s a lot of tough choices and moral dilemmas.

Look, if you’re a fan of gritty historical settings and strategic gameplay, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever and there are some annoying ads – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a new strategy game to sink your teeth into.
