It's a really fun casual game, but the ui definitely needs some polishing, it's really difficult to move around decorational items with some of them seeming to be locked as soon as you place them
Reviews for Tiny Terraces
← Back to Tiny Terracestwo stars for really terrible controls, but it's just been ported from an incomplete desktop game. I'm sure it'll be updated pretty soon to accommodate fat fingers. five stars for originality and the fun I've gotten out of it so far
There are still bugs and optimization that is needed to be done. The gameplay however is good. It's a nice idle game. 10/10 idle game. Can recommend :)
I love this game a lot! There's for sure room for improvement QOL wise but nothing that makes it unenjiyable to play without them. It could also use some optimization for mobile (little UI issues here and there, can't put on hats sadly) but like I said, nothing makes it unejoyable! And I'm sure improvements will come with time. I'd highly recommend picking it up. My only request is please add a toggle for footstep sounds. I like the other sfx but it gets drowned out by 100 fellas lol
Charming, but not without issues. The interface is not super mobile friendly, a lot of very small buttons that are difficult to select. Responsive dev is clearly investing time into this, and updates are releasing regularly. totally gorgeous, and despite everything, I'm having a good time.
Game breaking bug multiple hours in. Little guys doing nothing and crops sat in field not being picked up. Lots of bugs observed - worst offender is that the seed spreader doesn't work. Shame as there are some fun elements.
I love the game but it has a few bugs like some placed items like the bee hive, little guy maker, or the sprinklers duplicating after leaving andenteeing back in the game. And the ui not working if you have it expanded and rotate your device. And you can't use the harvest tool. Otherwise a very good cosy game.
exactly what ive been trying to find. the ability to play vertical or horizontal is great and i wish more games had that. it is a little rough around the edges in terms of ui, but i assume that will get better with time.
(review will change as bug fixes/mobile optimizations are made) Pros: Addictive yet soothing gameplay, delightful art, adorable little fellas to watch, and a fun assortment of plant and decoration options. Cons: There are some bugs, and it is still very obviously a PC port due to it's early state. Suggestions: Options to lower visual effects (optimization), option in menu to rotate screen (more mobile friendly), remove PC tooltips (less obviously a port)
Fun but mobile UI needs updates. Took me a while to move things the way I wanted. It would be better if it had some sort of obvious visual indicator that it was in moving mode like green arrows. There's also lots of overlapping issues for example the icon for juice ready in the barrels overlaps the UI for other settings on barrels. I do like that you're fully refunded for deleting objects allowing you to redesign garden without penalty.
I just started playing the game for about half an hour and Is already one of the best farming games I've played! only problem I've had so far it is very difficult to press some of the smaller buttons in the shop but hopefully it will be fixed soon as it is the first day it has been in the ap store
a lot of reviews reference the controls, but give 4 stars despite said broken controls making it nearly impossible to do tasks such as moving buildings. I'm guessing these reviews are from those who have been following the development on TikTok/YT. Other than the controls, I like what is here so far. Once the controls are actually fixed to work with a touchscreen in mind, I will likely change to 5 stars.
I've been following the developer for a while now and was so happy when a mobile version was announced! I normally don't play mobile games, but I adore this game and have spent a good couple of hours on it so far. There are a few tiny bugs/glitches, but the developer is actively working on patching the game and listening to people's feedback. If you want a casual farming game on your phone, then BUY THIS GAME! ❤️
Game is a lot of fun. i had a couple ideas for it. add tiny houses for the little guys to stay in. fishing would be really fun and make it so we can control one of the little fellas. also please make the map bigger
It's a little early in development to really "get into" the game. Quite a few ui bugs—menu's disappearing entirely after locking and unlocking phone, pop-ups not closing, destroy mode being on when it says off & visa versa, trees that grow while you're in the building view show the full model instead of being cut off like the rest, etc. Now - I *would* write out the positives of the game, but I can't be arsed typing for 6 hours. Guess you'll have to find out yourself, it's GOOD. 😂
Most mobile games feel p2w and painful. This is so calming. Casual. No ads. I played it almost non stop and finished it in 2 days. Everything but like 1 or 2 achievements. Worth every penny and then some. Dont expect too much dept. You can upgrade your little guys, there is an icon when you click on them. Went 50% through before I figured it out. Ui is a bit wonky when turning screens. But tbh its in the top 1% of games for android.
I love the PC version, but this port is not ready to sell. it has multiple bugs. Moving objects does not work as intended as objects only move a few spaces max. deleting objects is weird, you have to drag from dirt first or else a selection box wont appear. tooltips still mention pc hot keys. the game clearly expects a cursor being a pc port. I'd recommend implementing an emulated cursor in the meantime as a optional setting to alleviate all these problems till a better solution is found.
First off, this game is in fact early access and is not correctly labeled as such on Google Play. Second, there is functionally no tutorial at all for anything which is a bold choice though it's not the end of the world. Those two things being said, once you understand how to play it and accept that it's early access so it's fairly buggy, it's a great time.
for 2 bucks (I got it for 2, no clue how much it was after the release), it's actually really good, and I've been following the dev on yt oland other platforms, most of the bugs that I had seemed to be fixed rather quickly and im really glad. i can't wait to see what else this game has to offer!
I've been following the development of the game, I'm glad to see it released on mobile! But that's not without a couple of bugs lol. I bought a couple of little guy machines, saved and closed the game, when I reentered I found multiple more machines I did not buy. Clicking on the grid to place them doesn't place them on that exact square, rather just moves it up or down a little. Controls a little jank, I would recommend a more explicit tutorial, but fun! Can't wait to see more from it!!
