The nice thing is that there are a variety of activities...something to appeal to everyone. The irritating thing is that they FORCE you to engage with the mini games every time a new one is added. Everything else freezes and you can do nothing until you've clicked through to the mini game, waited for it to load, waited for the intro, waited for it to exit and reload the original game. I personally use the app for one thing only, and I don't appreciate the manipulation.

The professor's experiments went from 40 days to 20, while the upgrade has remained 4.99. Features & buttons taken away, top prizes for contests cut in half. I reported someone for cheating, & was then warned my game would be deleted because of cheating on my account. I'd give 0 stars if I could. Very disappointed in the direction you have taken.
There's a noticeable difference in how difficult it is to obtain prizes from the adventure part of the game as well as land expansion materials. It shouldn't have to play ONE regular level 55 times to get past it. And those levels are often harder than those labeled "super hard". I get that you all want to make money but this is bs. If you don't pay, you can't progress through the game. Zero stars if I could.
I downloaded the game for the minigame shown in the ad. This shows up 𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑟𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑦, and I'm assuming each egg/crop is coded as its own separate entity, because it lagged so badly it was almost unplayable. Also, I'd only been playing for a few minutes before I had to wait 10+ minutes before I could do anything. Match three (once it's unlocked) is often the only thing to do, and since I really don't care for match three games, it was not enjoyable.
I played this years ago and like all my games, I stopped randomly and then came back. 1, the previous game did not sync or stay available for me to jump right back where I left off. I had to start all over again. 2, this is a pay-to-progress game. Yes, you can get away with not spending real $, but you will be stuck on some aspects of the game for weeks while waiting to have enough resources to progress.
there is a glitch where you fill your zoo order and it just doesn't recognize you filled it and you get no rewards for the hours you spent making the items for it. they say they are aware of it and it would be fixed in the next update, but it has only gotten worse. I hate the match 3 game. this game is called township, it shouldn't have any match games in it they require you to play to move forward. they are impossible to beat. the rewards for everything keep getting smaller, but hard to get
Incredibly boring and tedious, build it and wait clicker clone. If you enjoy that type of game, then guess what, this one is still a bad version of it. Not even an hour or two in and your waiting times are already in the hours, not to mention the absolute clutter and chaos of your town, shops and barn space after getting some levels under your belt. The board is such a hot mess, you can barely tell what is what. Best part of the game is the match-3 side mini game and it rarely ever crashed.
I appreciate the different story-based games to continue to try to get coins and points to further build while waiting for supplies, land expansion, etc. but after having this game downloaded for two weeks, I've uninstalled it. I hit level 50 in the color match and couldn't proceed without boosters. I cannot justify continuing to dump money into the game just to finish builds or speed up supply runs, much less pass mini games. total money grab in my opinion. shame.
If you want a fun town building game where you can decorate and manage a city, don't get this game. If you want a candy crush mini game, then congrats, this is the game for you. It used to be so fun, and now they're making it harder and harder. Tasks in the regatta are basically impossible at this point, and you barely get any rewards. The graphics look like a child's game now and they've gotten rid of everything fun.
Fun game, keeps your interest. However, they have this system where the more real cash you spend the more real cash you have to spend for the next packages. Started around $3, then the next week it was up to around 7, then 15, then $27! I stopped at $15. At that point there were no more "discounted" packages to buy because you dont even have the option to buy lower packages again. Kinda shady. But it backfires on them because I no longer want to spend money on it and its lost its allure.
Neat, cozy until it's not: Side Games are a NIGHTMARE. The Match 3 side games are easy until they are nightmarishly difficult, & more often than not you're playing a "Super Hard" one (total lottery on levels that you get). I often spend WEEKS at a time on one stupid f'ing game, just to get 20 points. It's relaxing & fun until it isn't, & eventually it's just completely ENRAGING. Why did you take the fun out of it??? This could be such a great game & they ruin it.
Started playing after an ad that was completely different, but I kept it. I enjoy building my town up, but there are some obvious flaws in the game. Time frames not matching up with real-time, suspicious placement in races, clearly trying to force spending $, ingots not bringing treasure on ships, and my biggest gripe - the zoo handing out cards for animals I already have. Fun time waster, but frustrating.
I'm giving this app one star although I'd give it zero stars because it's complete false advertising based on their ads. The ads show you be able to play one type of game, but when you actually install this game and play it, it's something totally different. if you're installing this based off the ads, don't!!! Those ads are completely false and you never play that actual "game"
Okay so let's state the obvious 1. The ads obviously show a different game and that is why I downloaded this. it's a town building game not the farming game. 2. I'm playing this at a snail pace because there are 2 hour wait times. Throw in a 'watch an ad' option at least. Oh I need 4 bricks to finish building a post office, but my train takes 2 hours to return and really I'm stuck because I need more population. You have to pay if you want to actually enjoy this game.
This used to be a great game. I've played for almost 10 years,and they have completely ruined it. It is basically another match 3, prizes and most of the tasks are linked to it instead of focusing on the original game. I got this game because it was not a match 3. There used to be fun side games and a variety of different ones, now it's only match 3 which are frustrating, boring, and repetitive. They refuse to listen to their players, my co-op is wanting to quit because of how bad it is now.
I started playing this game in 2015. I quit in 2021 bc it got so repetitive. I just started playing again and the game has gotten worse. They took away all the fun side games and replaced it with a match 3 game that has levels that are impossible to beat without spending real money. Now 6 spots on regatta task board are taken up for the match 3 game tasks. It only leaves 6 spots for other doable tasks which makes getting enough tasks done in a day extremely hard. I would rate a zero if I could.
Other than the new ugly graphics, fix the match 3 game?! It's just NOT smart! Any other matching game, the boosters go where they need to go perfectly. I could activate one, and it was going where it should, until there was an unexpected match underneath where it was going to go, and so the piece moved down, yet the booster still goes to where the spot used to be. It gets on my nerves so bad! Or if you use the TNT with a helicopter booster, for it to not explode an area to its full potential!
I want to like it but I just can't. The match three is so frustrating, many levels take 10+ tries to beat without money and I'm not even high level yet. There are too many products to make and not nearly enough storage. The buildings rely on materials from the train, which I keep not getting the ones I need resulting in 2-4 buildings just sitting there. The game has a lot to do, but none of it is done well and leaves you frustrated more than anything.
It takes forever to get materials, figured I'd buy materials for a few buildings. Built some, played for a bit, saved and closed. Went back hours later, they were back to waiting to be built, but materials and money were still gone. Tried to chat about it, took over 4 hrs for response, so I didn't see til next day. They said it didn't update because app was open on 2 devices. I only have 1 device, never played this game before. They were zero help and did nothing to fix the issue. I uninstalled
There are elements in this game that are fun and others ... why bother. For instance, The mayor game and similar in that section...all un achievable as you have to play ALOT to get ahead before game time runs out. its really annoying that you can just start making progress to get toward. a reward- time runs out and you're back to square one!!!
