I've tested a bunch of transport and city-building games, and Transport Tycoon Empire stands out for its depth of strategy. There's a lot to manage between your different transport methods, contracts, and city development. I'd say it strikes a nice balance between being complex enough to be engaging, but not so complicated that it feels overwhelming. And in my experience, the gameplay loop of expanding your network and competing against other players is really addictive. The only downsides are that progression can get grindy at higher levels and the monetization model is a bit aggressive with ads. But if you're looking for an in-depth strategy game to sink your teeth into, this is a pretty solid option.

Description

Been playing Transport Tycoon Empire: City for a couple months now. It’s basically a strategy game where you build up your transport network – trains, planes, ships, the whole shebang. The goal is to become the ultimate transport tycoon by delivering cargo and completing contracts.

There’s a ton of strategic depth here – you can expand your network, upgrade your vehicles, and even build your own little city. It’s got an interesting map with different environments and you’re always trying to one-up rival transport companies. Took me a while to figure out the best strategies but it’s really satisfying when your plan comes together.

Look, if you’re into city-building and transport sims, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever and the ads can get annoying. But overall it’s a pretty solid time waster that’s worth checking out.
