Description
Been playing Up or Fall for a couple months now. It’s basically a super challenging platformer where you guide this little character climbing up through a vertical world. There are narrow ledges, tricky terrain, and dangerous drops everywhere – one wrong move and you’ll go plummeting down.
Here’s what you do: you just use the arrow keys to move and the X key to jump (tap for a short jump, hold for a higher one). And gotta be super precise with every single jump. There are also some NPCs along the way that share little stories – nice quiet moments between all the climbing and falling.
Look, if you’re into hardcore platformers, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – can get a little repetitive after a while – but overall it’s a solid time waster. Worth checking out if you want a real challenge.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Up or Fall. I've tested a bunch of platformers and this one's up there in terms of difficulty. The controls are tight and responsive, and the vertical progression adds a cool twist. But it can get frustrating at times, especially when you hit those really tricky jumps and just keep falling over and over. Personally, I enjoyed the challenge, but I could see some people bouncing off it if they're not into super hardcore gameplay. Overall though, it's a well-made game that delivers on the promise of being a tough-as-nails platformer.
