So here's my take - I've tested a bunch of these narrative-driven mystery games and Vanished Anniversary is definitely one of the better ones. The characters and story are pretty compelling, and I like how there's multiple perspectives to explore. And the gameplay loop of finding clues and interrogating suspects is simple but engaging. Where it falls a bit short is the repetitive nature of the story and the sometimes intrusive ads. But if you're looking for a fun little choose-your-own-adventure game, this one's worth checking out.

Pros

  • Interesting mystery story with multiple characters and endings
  • Intuitive gameplay loop of collecting clues and interrogating suspects
  • Free to play without being too pushy about in-app purchases
  • Graphics and animations are polished and run smoothly

Cons

  • Story can get a bit repetitive after a while
  • Ads pop up more often than I'd like
  • Not a ton of depth or replayability once you've seen the main endings

I’ve been playing Vanished Anniversary for a few months now. It’s basically a mystery-style game where something happens on your 3rd anniversary and all your friends start acting super suspicious. Your job is to collect evidence and interrogate everyone to figure out what’s really going on.

There’s 5 different characters you can play as, each with their own storylines and episodes. And the gameplay is pretty straightforward – you tap around the screen to find clues, talk to people, and piece together what happened. There’s also some light puzzle-solving in there which I thought was a nice touch.

Look, if you’re into these kinds of choose-your-own-adventure style games, you’ll probably get a kick out of Vanished Anniversary. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying and the story gets a bit repetitive after a while. But overall it’s a solid time-waster with some fun twists and turns.
