So here's my honest take on Vault of the Void. I've tested a bunch of strategy apps and this one's pretty solid. I like the focus on deck-building and the ability to preview enemies before a fight - it really makes you think about your strategy. The graphics look great and it runs smooth even on my older phone. The free-to-play model is fair too, you don't need to spend money to enjoy it. But it can get a little grindy at higher levels and the ads can be annoying if you don't pay. Overall though, a really fun and addictive game.

Description

Been playing Vault of the Void for a couple months now. It’s basically a single-player roguelike deckbuilder where you build up your deck and take on different enemies. Pretty solid app if you’re into strategy games.

Here’s what you do: You choose from 4 different classes, each with their own playstyle, and then you build a deck of 20 cards. And there’s also a feature where you can preview the enemies you’ll face, which is pretty cool. And you’re constantly iterating on your deck – there’s over 440 cards to mess around with.

Look, if you’re into strategy games and deck-building, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever at higher levels and it gets a bit repetitive after a while – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
