I really want to like this game. mobile version of kill team with the ability to build lists like the tabletop? sounds great! but I cant shake the feeling of having my time wasted. first of all any game with an energy mechanic doesn't want you to play it, it wants to become a habit by forcing you to check in every so often. second, in my experience so far tactics aren't as important as character power levels. it may be possible to have fun here but you'll need to fight through the monitization.

Good game, plenty of content with a good roaster of units. I really like this game however, it is not a very giving game. sadly one of the least giving phone games i have played. what is a real shame. getting currency for pull on units is far between and can feel like they are trying to back you in a corner to pay to win. would give it a 5 star if it was not for that very frustrating.

Too bad the base game is fun and keeping me coming back as basic operations are having trouble - as you can tell from this post I do in fact have Internet access. Typically confusing mobile game. This one also offers fake out ad watch options which just trap you in another game until you force quit this one, giving them a free ad with no reward for the player.

I've been thoroughly enjoying this game for quite some time; its really the only mobile game I play consistently, and for good reason. The only reason it can't be five stars is monetization. There is the potential for huge benefits when spending money, but you'll probably have to spend lots of it before the investment shows a turnaround. While Snowprint is already working toward a better, more rewarding system, it isn't quite there yet.

so, turns out if you don't pay for the Commissar Yarrik upgrade early when you start, you'll never get him later. so this game will cost you $7.99 right off the bat if you're a completionist pretty good so far, turned based tactics in the wh40k universe. the art is very well rendered and the storylines are interesting. but if you want to excell in pvp you'll have to pay $$$.

the game is fun and all but in multiple occasions you are forced to use the (Bad) starting three units only against enemies that can 1-3 shot all of the starting three making the later level a loop of using the blue capsules, making 1 wrong move and having to restart the mission and doing the same thing over and over again making the loop unfun and only making me not want you play nor put time into the game.

Well, I don't know what happened to me, or perhaps they made certain aspects quicker to achieve (I know they made building a character's base stars easier for certain,) but I absolutely adore this game again. It actually got me back into the lore as well, which hasn't happened in a fair few years. For the City of Light!

This is fine enough as a gatcha game. Because of how the game is designed, you will either be overpowered or getting stomped like an ant. The reason I give 1 star is because of how Indomitus Mirror Campaign is handled. Every other campaign you can have a team that just means the bare minimum requirements to beat it and have an easy enough time. Indomitus Mirror? It REQUIRES you to over invest in your Necrons. The big issue is with how overpowered the enemy snipers are. 1/5 until fixed.

Pros: Attention to lore, many playable factions, engaging tactical play, able to play in short games, "playable" as free. Cons: progress without paying is incredibly slow, with limited access to characters and upgrades. Even IF you are paying the game can be incredibly grinding taking up large amounts of time to do well. Also, "paying" is quite exspensive and there are no shortage of things to over-pay for. Basically a hobby all by itself. Upper levels of play are super competitive.

After playing the game for a longer period, I'm editing my original post. They need to create a wishlist of characters to increase the chances of getting heroes that will allow you to progress through the game or adjust to the current meta. I have been stuck for a while now due to summoning characters that haven't allowed me to progress past the initial imperial campaign. Very pay-to-win and not worth downloading.

You click on any of the ads within the game to refresh a timer or complete a mission and the ad traps you in some ridiculous preview for another mobile game that you cannot exit and never ends. You're stuck in a loop and have to exit the entire game and restart everything. The notification to "do something" also stays constantly active making you think the mission page has something important when it's just a prompt to watch another broken ad.

Good, with room for improvement. The game is fun and has a lot of good modes to play, but the amount of time it takes to get energy, onslaught attempts, and salvage run attempts is way too long. The character upgrades require you to use an insane amount of energy so it could take you days to get a single upgrade, even at low levels. This makes it difficult to get stronger to beat campaign missions. Like most mobile games, this is pay to win.

It's very hard to figure out what's going on? I can fight in one game, pvp, but then all of sudden, the next game im out ranked 3-5×'s better. The upgrades are endless and only get harder to find parts to upgrade, and the upgrades are very confusing as to what you actually upgraded. There are so many things going on, so many things it wants u to download as well. The game is too much for mobile memory, and the time it takes to accomplish anything is ridiculous.

Overall, I've been enjoying the game off and on for years. Some of these events, however, seem... scamy?. Tournament arena. The odds of you going second and winning are astronomically low. Some of these campaigns have me fighting gold guys in the silver campaign area. It's like you don't want us to progress or do well... unless you buy the "special" campaign box to progress. Some of the stuff you do has driven away one of the biggest content creators of the game. Do better.

I quit this game a year ago because of some progression and pay wall issues, but i picked it back up a couple weeks ago. They seem to have fixed a lot of that, and I've been enjoying the game a great deal since. My only real gripe is the matchmaking in arena mode are incredibly lopsided, and a new player has basically no hope of winning any significant number of matches. That's really busted, but other than that, it's been a good time!

This game is great and one of the better Warhammer titles on mobile. However it's completely undermined by its wonky micro transactions that make it hard to get any characters or power up your existing ones. Even as a paid player the cost is hard to swallow when you consider the fact you could go buy multiple sets of the actual GW models for less, which is wild since those have always been considered a pricier hobby. Level out the cost of the micro and this game will be fantastic.

The game itself is great at its base. But seriously, stop playing scummy game with the lootbox system. Just spent a lot of time grinding trying to get special requisitions to hopefully increase my odds, only to find out that they all disappeared without notice, none of them opened. This doesn't even get into the fact that the odds of getting anything have been seeningly getting worse and worse. Stop punishing me trying to play the game

Good visuals. Fun when you can play. Hard pay walls. Multiple season passes, Unlocking characters is effectively meaningless as you can't play campaigns without a group of 5 for that faction. Everything, and I mean everything, is priced through the roof. Games better than this entire cash grab are less than one character. $30 so you can unlock one campaign that can not be finished. There is no way to make slow, steady, consistent progress. Skip until it becomes an actual game.

Been playing for around 2 years. It's fun but extremely grindy. The big issue now though is that it feels like the devs are pushing the game even further into pay-to-win territory. It's always been pretty pay to win, but they've been making events less and less completable without paying for extra tries, regardless of how strong your own characters are.

I enjoy playing this game quite a bit, but you can only play it for about 10 minutes per day due to how they have set up the energy system. You run out of energy extremely quick, then you can only do 2 salvage runs, and 3 of wave based battle. It's fun, but incredibly frustrating when shortly after opening the app, there is nothing you can do. Why make it take 12 hours for one salvage token? Why make it take 35 minutes for 1 battle worth of energy? Ridiculous.
