So here's my honest take on D&D Beyond. I've tested a bunch of tabletop RPG apps and this one's pretty solid. The character management tools are super handy, and I like how you can access all the official books right in the app. And the digital dice roller is a nice touch too. On the downside, it can get a little overwhelming with all the content, and the free version is pretty limited. But if you're a regular D&D player, I'd say it's worth the investment.

Description

Been using D&D Beyond for a couple months now. It’s basically a digital toolset for your Dungeons & Dragons games – you can access all your character sheets, campaign books, and more right from your phone. Pretty solid app if you’re into tabletop RPGs.

Here’s what you do: you can build up your character, manage things like health and spell slots, and even roll digital dice straight in the app. There’s also a database with all the official D&D content, which is pretty cool. And the shared campaigns feature lets you sync up with your gaming group – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re a big D&D nerd like me, you’ll probably love this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

The most obviously frustrating thing is that you can't port your previous purchases, which was clearly a greed-based decision. Unfortunately, the issues don't end there. I won't bore you too...
