So here's my take on Pipefitter. I've tested a bunch of productivity apps like this and this one's pretty solid. The core features work well and it's got a good range of calculations covered. And the interface isn't the prettiest but it's functional. Compared to other pipe fitting apps I've tried, this one seems to be the most comprehensive without being overly complicated. Not gonna lie, it takes some getting used to, but once you figure it out it's a really handy tool to have on your phone.

Description

I’ve been using Pipefitter for a couple months now. It’s basically a pipe fitting calculator app – you can figure out the exact angles, offsets, and cuts you need for steel, stainless steel, and other types of pipes. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: there’s a bunch of different calculations you can do, like for rotated elbows, elbow type S, and tee-joints. It’s got all the formulas built-in so you don’t have to do the math yourself. Took me a while to figure out some of the features but they’re all pretty useful once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you’re a pipefitter or do a lot of plumbing work, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a pipe fitting calculator on the go.
