I've tested a bunch of mobile strategy games, and MoonWard is one of the better ones I've come across. The combat is satisfyingly skill-based, and the character customization adds a nice layer of depth. The graphics look great too. But it does have some issues - the progression can feel grindy at times, and the free-to-play model is a bit pushy with the ads. Still, if you're looking for an addictive base-building, troop-training, player-battling experience, MoonWard is a pretty solid option.

Description

Been playing MoonWard for a couple months now. It’s basically a strategy game where you build up your village and raid other players’ bases. Pretty addictive stuff, to be honest.

Here’s what you do – you start by constructing buildings, training troops, and upgrading your defenses. There’s also this cool system where you can choose from different races, classes, and backgrounds for your character. Lots of customization. And the combat is pretty skill-based, which I dig.

Look, if you’re into strategy games and don’t mind a bit of a grind, you’ll probably like MoonWard. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying. But overall, it’s a solid game that does the job. Worth checking out if you’re bored.
