So here's my honest take on Melonman. I've tested a bunch of strategy games and this one's pretty solid. The graphics look great and it runs smooth even on older phones. There's a ton of strategic depth without being overwhelming, and the free-to-play model is pretty fair - you don't need to spend money to enjoy it. But it does get a little repetitive after a while, and the slow progression at higher levels can be frustrating. Overall though, if you're into building up your village and battling other players, Melonman is worth a look.

Description

Been playing Melonman for a couple months now. It’s basically a mobile strategy game where you build up your village and raid other players. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: You start by upgrading your buildings and training troops. There’s also a clan system, which is pretty cool. You can team up with friends and attack other clans. And you can customize your village – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re into strategy games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
