So here's my honest take on Mushroom 11. I've tested a bunch of unique indie games and this one's definitely up there. The whole shapeshifting blob mechanic is really creative and makes for some tricky but satisfying puzzles. I also dig the minimalist, atmospheric vibe - the music and visuals work really well together. That said, it does have a few issues. The difficulty spikes at times and the repetition can get old if you play for long sessions. But if you're looking for an offbeat, challenging platformer, Mushroom 11 is pretty darn good.

Description

Been playing Mushroom 11 for a couple months now. It’s basically a weird but cool platformer game where you control this amorphous blob that can take any shape. The gameplay is pretty unique – you basically have to mold and reshape your blob to navigate the levels. There’s also some light puzzle elements, like figuring out how to get through certain areas.

Here’s what you do: you start by growing your blob, then you have to carefully maneuver it through the environment. There’s also some cool abilities you can unlock, like splitting your blob in two. And the graphics have this really cool, eerie vibe to them – kinda like a post-apocalyptic world. Took me a while to get the hang of it but it’s satisfying once you do.

Look, if you’re into unique, challenging platformers, you’ll probably like Mushroom 11. It’s not perfect – the learning curve can be a bit steep and it does get a little repetitive after a while. But overall it’s a solid game that does a lot of cool things. Worth checking out if you want something different.
