I’ve been playing Birdle – A Daily Guessing Game for a couple months now. It’s basically a fun little app where you try to guess the bird species and its characteristics. You listen to the bird call and try to figure it out in 5 guesses or less. Pretty solid if you’re into nature and birdwatching.
Here’s what you do: There’s a new bird every day that you have to identify. You get some clues like the region it’s found in, and you can make guesses and see how close you are. It’s got some nice bird illustrations and audio clips that make it feel authentic. And the game keeps track of your streak and high scores – took me a while to get the hang of it but it’s a good challenge.
Look, if you’re into bird ID and learning about different species, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – there can be some tricky birds that are hard to guess sometimes. But overall it does a good job of being educational and fun at the same time. Worth checking out if you want to test your birding skills.
