So here's my take on Chrome Dev. I've tested a bunch of beta and preview apps, and this one's pretty solid overall. The ability to try out new Chrome features early is really cool, and I like how it integrates with my other Chrome stuff. And at the same time, the experimental nature means you'll run into some bugs and quirks here and there. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind. If you're a Chrome diehard and don't mind a little instability, I'd say it's worth giving a shot.

Description

Been using Chrome Dev for a couple months now. It’s basically a beta version of the Chrome browser for Android where you can try out new features before they’re released. Pretty solid app if you’re into trying out the latest and greatest stuff, even if it’s a little rough around the edges sometimes.

Here’s what you can do: there’s the usual browser stuff like surfing the web, opening tabs, syncing across devices. But it’s also got some cool experimental features you can play with, like a built-in task manager and a dark mode that’s easier on the eyes. Took me a while to figure out where some of the settings were, but once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty user-friendly.

Look, if you’re a Chrome fan and want to be on the cutting edge, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the new features can be a bit buggy at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you don’t mind a few rough edges.

Current state, speaking as a Google and Android Dev. For the first time, this iteration of Chrome is seriously irritating. Idk what it is wrong, but on 1 in 4...

Good to be in the cutting edge with no crashes encountered. I just wonder, what's the point of making tabs list horizontally and closing them swip vertically? I find this...

Used to be amazing and paired well with chrome, to have an alternative browser for specific things. A recent update has lessened all forms of chrome unfortunately. For some reason...
