So here's my honest take on Boomplay: Music & Live Stream. I've tested a bunch of music apps and this one's pretty solid. The selection of songs is insane - over 100 million tracks across all genres. And the discovery features like curated playlists are great for finding new stuff to listen to. And the offline mode also works well, which is super useful. On the downside, the free version has ads that can get a little intrusive. And the UI takes some getting used to at first. But overall, I'd say it's one of the better music streaming apps out there, especially if you don't want to pay for a subscription.

Description

I’ve been using Boomplay: Music & Live Stream for a couple months now. It’s basically a music player app with over 100 million songs across different genres like pop, rock, afrobeats, and more. Pretty solid app if you’re into discovering new music and listening to your favorites offline.

Here’s what you do: you can search for songs, artists, or playlists and just start streaming. There’s also an offline mode where you can download tracks to your phone and listen without using data. And the curated playlists – they’ve got a bunch of those that are pretty cool. Took me a while to figure out how to make my own playlists, but it’s useful once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you’re a music junkie like me, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job of letting me find and listen to tons of music on the go. Worth checking out for sure.
