I’ve been using NYC ACCESS HRA for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you manage all your public assistance benefits in one place. Pretty solid if you’re on SNAP, cash assistance, or other HRA programs.
The app’s got a bunch of useful features. And you can view the current status of your cases, check your EBT balances, and even see upcoming appointment dates. There’s also a payments section where you can see things like rent or utility payments made by HRA. Took me a while to figure out some of the menu options, but once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty straightforward.
Look, if you’re relying on HRA for your benefits, this app is definitely worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the design is a little dated and the loading times can be slow sometimes – but overall it gets the job done. Definitely beats having to call HRA or go to the office for simple stuff.
