The only reason any of us use this app is because we're forced to, since they don't allow us to upload documents via the website anymore. I've been trying for the last two days to log in on my app, but it just loads until it times out. And when it IS working, it almost never reflects my accurate snap balance, even if it says "as of" the current date.

The most frustrating, irritating thing I have ever dealt with on a phone. I think the app is deliberately confusing and doesn't work right just so you'll give up. It took me a half hour just to change a phone number. Since doing the useless update today, aug 27, can't even get the damn thing to open after password, just spins forever. HORRIBLE, USELESS.

Wont load at all!! It stays stuck on screen. Ive uninstalled and redownloaded so many times. Still the same problem. This is crazy! We have to send documents from this app for our case but it doesnt work. Unreal edit- you guys write and say write a email but yet say or do nothing else! Then when a email is wrote yall dont reply! This is really a joke app and reply to people needing help!

Uploading documents is a pain. It's one thing that it doesn't auto-detect the edges of paper and that I can fix it myself. It's another that the two dimensions of corner adjustment aren't consistent with each other and with the final photo. All of this after having to manually choose the appropriate document from a long list, even for official city forms.

this certainly beats sitting in those God awful offices for hours at a time! However, you'll wait on hold for hours at a time, trying to reach someone on the interview phone line!!!! My advice is to deal with long waits on the phone line because it took me 3 days of trying to wait on the line and several attempts at calling back! The system IS set-up to recognize you're on their call waiting list. Yeah, it's still better. I'd rather have to do that time in the comfort of my home!

What a dismal app! Often, it doesn't open at all. Once you're in, the information and instructions are cryptic and incomplete. The document upload is primitive, missing basic features like being able to upload a document from your files. Instead, you have to take a photo and try to upload that, except it often doesn't work. (And why can't you upload from a computer, too?) This is such a slipshod design that it looks like no one at HRA cares whether the app works or not.

Being unable to upload PDF files makes it more difficult to submit documents you can not printout. I am also disappointed that you can not search your phone from other albums to use the pictures needed to be uploaded. It only searches your camera album, and that's frustrating when you can't find it elsewhere. This app makes it difficult in all ways!!!

The website tells you that this is the only way to submit documents, but do not allow you to upload PDFs or any other format, and you can not use any folder other than your primary photos folder. I realized that this may be extremely biased against Androids, but either way, what a joke. Who made this app a 4 grade software student? (no offense to 4 graders). Looking through the comments, it seems as if this has been the issue for YEARS and zero improvement. I'm disappointed but not surprised.

Great idea but doesn't work well in practice. For 2 years I've used this app to upload documents for my cases but the interviewer did not get the documents in either cases. The online application should have a section used to upload documents so everything can be submitted together. This year, I'm reduced to faxing in the documents at staples, which will cost me a pretty penny. Hopefully that'll work otherwise I'd have to go in person like last year. And when I went in last year, I was told that my application was still active in system so I couldn't reapply but SNAP benefits had already stopped. It was a major pain and frustrating when you have to penny pinch because of a technical glitch that no one can over ride. I'd say trash this app and add the ability to submit documents with application online.

Uploading documents is horrible. It does not support PDF, the "take a photo" functionality does not have the ability to focus on the document, and "select a photo" cuts off photos. Previews also cut off images despite cropping it to the document size. Auto Detect does not work. You can't access any photo that hasn't been taken as a photo at all. Top notifications constantly pop up and take up 90% of the screen. The entire process is made to discourage people from applying tools that assist them.

Update, 3 years later, the app works better and is running normally, updates in the app are current. I can tell that there has been some maintenance done to give users a better , more easy experience. I would still rather do everything on the app. Terrible , slow, unreliable, freezes, poor navigation design. I deleted it after a few days because it glitched so much , I couldn't upload or view my information without coming out of the app and re-entering, having to enter my password each time .

A App no one knows how to fix them. When you can log in it's a fine app to upload your documents and review your case, downfall is some of the information isn't in realtime and inaccurate. I haven't been able to log in for over a week, I'm locked out and the "forgot password" link isn't working, I never get a email to reset my password; it's like being in a revolving door, going around in the same circle with the same results. I've unistalled/reinstalled app, I've emailed support and nothing.

This app is one of the only easily accessible ways to send supporting documents for certain government applications, and yet it performs terribly. The app crashes often, lags, and logs out randomly, even while in active use. The only option to upload documents is by photo, and it can only view photos in your camera roll or taken directly through the app's buggy viewfinder. No other file types supported, in an age when everything is digital. This is a very frustrating and inconvenient experience.

This app suffers from a number of poor design decisions. For example, you can't save your username and must type it in each time. Which is particularly frustrating because the app frequently logs you out, and will also fail to log in if the screen saver starts before the app connects (seriously!). (Username also doesn't use the email keyboard configuration even though you have to use an email address to log in). Much of the rest of what I've seen if also very awkward. These issues are aggravated because right now we're in the middle of a pandemic that is creating an overload in social service systems. That's why document uploads often fail (sometimes trying several times works, sometimes you need to try another day). Note that if you take a snapshot of a document and it fails to upload, the app doesn't save the document on your phone and you have to retake the picture. I haven't qualified yet so I can't review anything except log in and document upload, but those are sub-par.

This is a usless app. I updated the app, and the bugs still have not been fixed. I still can not connect my Medicaid information. When checking SNAP balance, it always has the wrong balance. Even after I recertification for my SNAP, it keeps asking me to upload documents that were already uploaded. It's very frustrating! Also, when you check the case and it requests you call the number provided, all you get is a busy signal. no one picks up the phone or calls back when leaving a message.

The app can be unreliable sometimes. If you need to put any documents on the app, you have to take a picture of the printed document and upload it. The app doesn't let you use your camera roll to upload documents. Which can be an inconvenience at times. The app tends to glitch and sometimes doesn't always give you accurate information for how much you are currently receiving for CA and SNAP. Sometimes, it's better to go in to give them the documents directly.

Constantly system errors telling me to try again later. Won't let me upload the documents I need. Isn't a JPEG an acceptable format? If not, there should be a list of accepted formats. I wish I didn't have to use this app, but it's my last resort. When I tried faxing in my documents -- three times! -- they claimed that it was never received. This brilliant piece of programming is what I was advised to try next.

They need more options. You can no longer upload documents through PC, which was so much easier than on mobile. It only accepts PDF as a document or you can take it through screenshot. The process itself was a pain, since as PDF I had no clue how to rotate the image to make it the right position. Whereas, I can easily do it through other applications such as paint, but it will be saved as Jpeg.

With the way technology keeps improving there shouldn't be as many glitches as there are in these reviews. To start off, the amount is always incorrect. When logging in on the application, it reroutes to the website, requiring logging in again. No issues uploading and even received verification that documents were successfully submitted. Yet, I didn't receive this month's SNAP benefits. Calling in to their customer service is the worse. Over 2 hours and counting on hold!!

The app is pretty bare bones as it is, but that's not necessarily a problem. The glaring issue is that it doesn't allow file selection from any other folder on your device. Document uploading becomes a chore because of this. Not being able to upload PDFs from Google Drive, Adobe Acrobat, ect is just plain ridiculous for an app that asks you to upload important documents. So what do they do instead? Make you upload photos from your photo storage--and ONLY your main camera storage at that!
